These are at times some of the most raved about units but I simply do not like the fact that using them is subject to so much user trial an error, very subjective. You have a bottle to squeeze, how much is too long and too much. A flooded atty is not fun to try to vape through. You hear advice all the time that you will get a feel for things, etc. But I hate to hit nasty dry spots and that be my indication to squeeze and how much is one squeeze shooting up? Do I need to squeeze once long and hard or two gentle pumps? But if you have a stiff bottle what is gentle? Many times on these you have to press in hard and then, did you just flood things again?

I am still very much on the fence about them. Just like to get some other feedback. Right now I am using E2 cartos and with them I just fill them up for a day and its finished...closest thing to hassle free I have seen so far.

The ultimate e-cig and Ii am sure this is where we are headed is a TRUE self-juicing model. An intellient e-cig that keeps the atomizer wetted just the right amount every time. No dry harsh hit tearing up your throat, no weak gurgling atomizers that deliver next to noting until you can get rid of the excess you flooded it with.

I do the top feeder but the atty is inside the 3AA box mod which means very little tubing is required. There also is a little window so I can watch as the liquid moves across. I rarely flood it and every week or two I have to switch out bottles or refill.
Of course I carry three with me and I use a wall wart mod while I'm home because I actually prefer dripping.
But you are right, eventually there will be a self-juicing model.

Big Hitter: After I have seemed to have ironed out some kinks with the E2's I am startign to hit my stride with them and enjoying them...very easy to clean and maintain and truly there is no filler in these..I do have some free joye cartomizers comign in I got in a special from FSUSA as I have heard great things about them but they still have filler in them and I am hearing that after a few uses the poly fill in them starts to fuse together near the end by the atomizer...cuttign your effective use of them to about half capacity and also these are much more involved to fill than the E2's...

jj2: thats sounds liek Super T's juice feeder? You already got one? Any leakign problems at bottom of atomizer? About the self juicer Dave has hinted heavily that his integrated juice feeder may be very near that.

Problem with juice feeders is that, in order for them to be worth having, they also have to be bigger than I'd want.

I disagree. I have a wetbox and it is very small. The box is the same length as my pinky finger. I have had no problems whatsoever, not even with leaking. The learning curve to use it without overdoing it was about 5 minutes. Dripping really isnt an option when you are flying a big loud rickety airplane through turbulance.... LOL

I am using a Wetbox, also, and while I have posted my lukewarm reaction to it elsewhere on this forum, overall I have to say it's not turning out to be as bad as many people seem to think. I do get the occasional flooded carto, but it clears fast enough. I also have not experienced any leakage in over a month of use. The one thing I continue to dislike about it is the fact that it requires cartos. I have yet to get 3 solid days out of one before they lose vapor/TH. But regardless, I am loving the ease of use and relatively long battery life as compared to my older L88b and RN4081 models.

I am waiting on an Ali'i, which would let me switch to LR attys vs. cartos, and with longer battery life. I am looking forward to that.

So I ended up with the mini REO by accident, really. I never wanted a "mod" because they all looked huge and I have very small hands, and I was getting tired of fussing with so many parts and pieces I just assumed this would be just as complicated. My husband being a mod collector had an extra and handed it to me one day in the hopes of getting me off the analogs. So I can definately understand your frustration with burning the crap out of your mouth when it gets too dry. That happened to me last week. The other day I focused on that issue as I worked my distribution route and found that if i gently squeeze the bottle more often, it almost never dries out. Now every juice is different, those with a higher viscosity don't seem to require as much pushing as the thicker ones do...at least for me. So I take 3-5 drags, then squeeze. I don't wait for it to dry out anymore. For me, I find this to be a minor issue compared to what I was working with before I got the mini REO. I agree that a self-feeding mod would be great, but I doubt they would be able to get it down to a size that someone like me would be happy with. I hope you find one eventually and that your cartomizer keeps you happy in the mean time. Happy Vaping!
*Edit*....you may want to PM my hubby or Robert or drop a line on the REO thread if you're having problems. I know and you know that everyone will do their best to help you break your new REO in. To be fair, its especially important to drop in there and make it known if there is a problem that Robert should know about so he can make improvements.

I like the top feed as well. Mine feeds the atty when you draw on the cart so there's no pumping. Everybody has their own preferences....bottom, top, pump, no pump, etc.

Are you speaking of the Super T Juice Feeder? If you have a unit that feeds the atty on a draw I'd like to see that.

the supper T Mod you still have to push the bottle to feed the atty.

Hang on I will find a Photo or the vido. It a top feed juice mod. attaches to the Atty at the top.

Exactly - I have seen the Super T mod and you DO have to squeeze a bottle. That's why I was askign him about a top feeder to the atty, thats the only one I know about I do do know it requires a bottle squeeze...

And with that said...with no reservoir it appears this mod is much more prone to leak than a REO or an Ali'i

I have no idea what happened to my post...I replied to this and goink! Anyway in brief I was saying I wound up selling the REO that morning based on my experience. It started out well then suddenly things went south and I think it had to do wiht the battery problems I was having and the fire button had a long plunge to it, leading me to believe there were possibly problems with gettign a good fire to the atty...I wound up squeezing more and more thinking that was a problem and I am sure I mega-flooded the atty.

I may go back and try the reo grand. I have ordered the ali'i also.

Not like David's, here's mine in a 2AA box

....and in The Puck

I vent it so the juice doesn't get sucked back down into the bottle. I'm also testing one I made that uses a check valve. it's not a big deal; just a mod of a mod
