Reason for worldwide governments banning or restricting E Cigarette related items is simply about PROFITS.

Notwithstanding any conclusive studies showing ill effects of vaping.
There cannot be any other explanation.

Bottom line: Governments lose TAX revenue as a significant portion of the population moves to this alternative.
If they cannot create logical reasons and support to make their CUT $$ , then they will assert their authority by banning it.

With this reasoning, they are siding with EVIL.
EVIL meaning they would rather see people kill themselves with analogs rather than applaud efforts by an exponentially growing percentage of the population move to better their lives.

Some people definitely lobby to stop it as they have interest in the current form of smoking cigarettes. Theres a lot of people who just have ingrained into their system that seeing smoking of any kind is automatically bad too.

Intolerance of other's habits or behaviors is based on an bigger underlying fear. in this case, opposing vaping behaviors that resemble smoking it is a smoke screen born of dishonesty that only serves as a rationale/ excuse that hides the bigger reason that of losing money!

You do know that the USDA demands the industry to self regulate which has become a behind closed door joke. The industries private little joke at that.

The FDA has long been a puppet for Big Pharmaceuticals, government corruption and conflict of interest is easy if the wolf guards the hen house...

It's just more than lost tax dollars the politicians are missing. It's bribes from the tobacco industry, the farmers who grow tobacco, the seed company, the trucking industry that ships the tobacco and the individual employee in any and all of these industries. Also, a safer form of smoking will have people living longer. Politicians have STOLEN our collected tax dollars for paying out Social Security benefits. If people live longer, there would be more trying to collect it. There's isn't enough to be paid out, because the politicians have STOLEN a good chunk of it. People living longer lives would CRASH the entire Social Security system and that's when the thieves get exposed.

Now, I wonder why politicians around the world are trying to ban vaping.
