Hey guys. Just running a 4.2v battery through my poldiac, hitting well. I put the same battery and atty in my smoktech magneto with sanded down contacts and it hits slightly better! Great for the magneto but its like I want a refund on my poldi lol. Whats going on? Any experience would be appreciated.

you say the contacts are sanded. That's probably it right there. You're probably getting some voltage drop from resistance in the contacts on the poldi
When was the last time you cleaned the Poldiac?? So far every mech mod I've gotten, I've cleaned with Isopropyl Alcohol before using and then once a week. So far there all working great.
Yes, it probably has a light layer of machine oil on it from making it.
Gotta keep 'em clean, tarnish and corrosion free... any contamination is a "continuity killer".
Break out the IPA. ;-)That reminds me: It's contact cleaning night!
