HI LARRY HERE
I just got my multimeter 1 hour ago
Have to learn it
I saw vids on testing attys but never one already on the Reo
Could you tell me where to put the wires?

Thanks in advance

I don't think you'll get an answer. The people talking about testing w/ a multimeter after mounting are talking about the rebuildable atomizers with internal posts that you can touch the leads of a multimeter to. You had a bad conventional atomizer. To my knowledge you can't do this without tearing up the atomizer to get to the right spots. If I'm wrong, hopefully someone will give instructions. :pop:

If I'm not mistaken, you can touch one lead to the outside of the atty base and the other in the hole at the bottom to check resistance with a multimeter.

Hey X. Yeah, there are multiple trains-of-thought going on here.
  • Checking RBAs after the device is mounted on the mod. Where its easy to check w/ a multimeter by touching the multimeter leads to each internal post on a rba.
  • Checking an atty unmounted as you mention.
  • And Larry's question, I think, of how to check a conventional atty after mounting on the mod. Which I don't think is doable without tearing it up.

Larry, if you're using those Joye 510 attys I sent you, I metered them before I sent them to you....and they were all 1.5 and they were all good. Are you still having trouble getting a good hit?

HI JC
I getting the hang of this now,I think, they are working great
Thanks again :)
