i bought 3 latatube kits from totally wicked yesterday at $59 bucks a peice. it was too good of a deal to pass up. i dont know too much about the lavatube, i do know that lavatube is a VV device. i bought 1 kit for my wife, 1 for myself, and 1 for a friend that wants to get into vaping. the unit is called the torpedo but it really is just a rebranded lavatube. $58 bucks got me 2 2200 MAH batteries, 1 charger, and 2 3ohm atties. i bought it on one of those yoyo discounts. how well has the lavatube been holding up for other people that own the lavatube so far and how does it compare to the provari. i think the price was right.

If you have never used a tube mod VV device Please go to the webpage that sells this and download the user manual and print it off for each user. Also tell everyone that they are to never use non rechargeable batteries from Radio shack or ebay or whatever place sells lithium batteries!!! Only use Li Ion rechargeable, protected or safe chemistry batteries. Better know up front about safe handling of these batteries for safety if you or friends/family are not familiar with them. Just a heads up for safe batteries and use proper charger for safe charging, these batteries need special handling. Thanks for reading, bnrk

I own two "Lavatubes". Got one from Valcano ecigs (when they 1st came out) and the other from Apolo (when the kit was on sale for $59.99). They are holdin well. I did put nolox on the bottom threads and don't try to overtighten it. I've had no problem with the fire button sticking as well. I do only use them at home though, so they treated with care. I own a ProVari as well and it is a "class act" all the way, but it does cast quit a bit more. I think the Lavatube is worth it for the money though.

Some of them, like the Apollo ones, are stainless steel, and some are chrome finished brass. Be aware that they're not the same if you're comparing them. I've seen some confusion about this expressed on ECF.

Vaporalley.com has the regular Ver. 1 kits w/2 batt's for $60 as their regular price. For another $10, you can get the V 1.5 model. Through 5/5, ecigcharleston.com also has full kits for $60 w/$1.99 shipping.

The V1.5 and the various stainless and chrome versions of these are driving the prices through the floor on the Ver. 1 models. Now, if only the Panasonic CGR18650CH batteries would drop to $5 a pop....

also bought a couple vision clearomizers from got vapes as well. looks like they are nice units and get good reviews.

You will need 2 of the 510-510 adapters (for clearance) to use the Star Dust (eGo Vision clearomizer) of the LT, the other Vision clearomizers will fit OK.

    Enjoy!
