How long will a battery last you think?

And since Amazon (my favorite store) does not appear to sell many e-cigs, is there a comparable site? I looked a bit but did not see a "trusted vendors" post on the forum.

When I was using Ego batteries (just the regular 650 mAh size) they lasted for months - a few of the ones I have I have had for at least 9 months. This is how long they lasted before they stopped charging well and needed to be replaced. I just realized you probably meant how long they would last on a charge That will depend on the size and type of battery that you end up getting. I don't know how long a Blu battery would last before needing to be recharged. My little Ego batteries would last me several hours if I was using them all the time, or longer, if I was just using it occasionally (like if I was at work where I could only use it during breaks or the lunch hour). The larger Ego batteries will last longer in between charges. It will vary from person to person because people vape differently, with different combinations of equipment, and with a twist or spinner, different voltages.

As far as vendors, check out Forum Suppliers List In addition to a link to the vendor's web site, there is also a link to their forum page here on ECF, and you can generally get an idea as to what people think of them from seeing the type of posts on their forum page. Some people like to order from vendors in China, because they sometimes offer better prices, but the shipping time can be longer. Others prefer to order from vendors here in the States.

Yep, Chantix didn't work, cold turkey didn't work, patch, gum, snus, dip, nothing worked. I still had an unrelenting, horrible urge to smoke. Till I tried this, I feel satisfied. It's the best shot I have had to get rid of "analogs" in my life.

My 1100mAh battery did not last me all day today and it is 14 times the size. I know I am pulling more power from it per drag, but if you do go with the cig-a-likes just "Be prepared"

The only Ecig I would ever be in favor of banning are those that are sold in gas stations. I honestly get frustrated when I hear people say " I tried ecigs and they just didn't work for me." when the ecig they tried in my opinion wouldn't work for anybody. Get some decent equipment and give it a shot.

So there is a shop right around the corner from my house, they sell the eGo stuff, from a quick read through various forums, that should be a good starter set right?

Yeah the eGo is a good choice along with an Evod or T3. Get yourself a couple 10ml bottles of different juices and you should be good to go. The sales people at the shop should be able to answer any questions you have as to nicotine strength and filling your clearos so you should be able to go the boy scout weekend with no problems.

Ok, so I made it through the camp out... Half way through yesterday, I smelled a parent smoking and got a craving, so I went and bummed a smoke. It was the exact brand and style I smoked for many, many years up till last week, Camel Menthol Silver (light)... I lasted 4 drags before concluding that they were 100% disgusting and putting it out. This is after only 4 days of vaping, two of those with disgusting disposables, and really only about 48 hours without a cigarette.

You know, I think I know what this disposable reminds me of... Years back, they had some cigarettes that had a carbon tip in them that "steamed" the tobacco... And I think the texture and taste is reminding me of that.

You are thinking of the Eclipse. You basically super heated a carbon tip (lit it like a cigar) and then it steam the tobacco. They had no odor, but were a little light on taste.
