I prefer 26g ss 316l or 24g ss 316l. If you don't mind working with springy wire 28g gives a good vape as well. Hope you enjoy your new rda.

I will attest that 28 is springy... Springier than kanthal, that's for sure. I've used it in my builds with intermittent success, it's not the wrapping that's hard for me, but the installation.... I am considering experimenting with some different gauges, though.

Have you tried twisted wire yet? Did you know if you lightly torch wire before you wrap your coil it will be easier to work with? Don't burn it, just use a lighter and run flame up & down wire a few times.

Yes, I did know that, and it might stiffen the wire so that it doesn't break during installation, thanks for the reminder, I appreciate it!

2.5mm. 6-7 wraps. .4-.5 ohms. Cotton Bacon. Using same coils for about 2 1/2 months now. Rewicked once so far.
Nano's are so easy to build.

Here is a nano and a macro, LOL. It's about 4.5mm on the big end, and 2.5mm on the small end.

26awg SS.

.53 ohms.

I was surprised that it only had hot spots before I strummed it. I did that once and it heated evenly from inside (I didn't think it would).

Actually works pretty good. Needs less than 10amps to hit hard, warm (not hot) and smooth.

I wicked it so that wicking is both above and below both ends. The cone shape seems to allow juice to kind of pool.

I'm actually a little dizzy from hitting on my normal 12mg juice! May have to go down to 8 or 10 for this build!
