I get absolutely zero tobacco flavor in my Bounty Hunter. If I tasted it blindly, I'd bet dollars to donuts that it was intended to taste as close to white cake batter as possible. There's definitely vanilla and it somehow manages to have that somewhat "powdery" texture that cake batter has. Sounds odd, I know...

Jonner,

I too taste tobacco in Bounty Hunter. It's just not "up-front" and distinct, but instead woven seamlessly into the overall flavor experience. That may mean that less tobacco flavoring is used, or it could be that the individual flavoring ingredients meld together very well. Either way is OK with me, because BH is quite wonderful, one of my all-time Top 10 juice faves.

My first order of Bounty Hunter was in August and it was amazing right out of the mailbox: vanilla, graham cracker, and nilla wafers is what I got out of it. After a week or two, I needed to take a break. When I came back to it, all those components were there, but I was starting to get the tobacco notes from it. I don't think it changed though. I think I can pick out the tobacco notes now because my taste buds are growing back from quitting smoking and I can taste things more now.

Anyway, that bottle has about three drops in it. I got a new bottle yesterday and its not the same. When I sniff them side by side, the new one is much harsher and it vapes much harsher too. I'm really hoping that this is just a fresher bottle than the one I got a month ago because it doesn't taste like bounty hunter to me right now, and bounty hunter is my drug! Lol, I'm seriously addicted. I'm just gonna put it to the side for a week and compare the smell from the bottles and see if they match up. I think these new batches need to steep. So that's my advice to Morgy, and anyone else getting any weirdness from it. Can't say I've ever detected cinnamon from Bounty Hunter though. This is the first I've heard of that.

Either way, there is something off about this batch. I'm hoping it's just a "needs steeping" thing and not a changed or goofed up recipe thing. If it's the latter, I'd be very sad indeed.

Okay, I was just smelling the bottle again and I retract my statement (slightly). It DOES smell like bounty hunter, but it's definitely a harsher version of bounty hunter. from my (limited) experience with e-liquids, this really does seem like a case of it just being extremely fresh and needing steeping.

There's a lot going on in bounty hunter, and the more ingredients there are, the more time it's gonna need to settle down and meld together (that's my view at least). So my answer is still: steep it, and try it again.

Hey guys, I found this at another thread about the new batches of bounty hunter. This is from Gene, over at Nitelite:

Your Bounty Hunter is fine... it just has not been exposed to light or
> air. The mini jugs do not let light through. If you put your BH into a
> clear bottle and let it set in light for a few days, you will see it get
> darker and darker with each day that goes by. That's why the 10ml and
> 30ml bottles will always appear darker in color when they are shipped
> out. Also, if you leave the cap off for a while, your Bounty Hunter will
> turn darker from oxidation of the nicotine which is completely normal.
> Heat will also affect color. Since we are shipping and receiving in
> cooler weather now, our liquids are less exposed to heat stress.
>
> Also with the increased sales volume we now have, our liquids are being
> released a little sooner in order to keep up, so yes... they may require
> some steeping time depending on the user. Some people like Bounty Hunter
> better after it has set for a while and others like it more when it is
> fresh out of the box.
>
> One change we did make was our nicotine supplier and are extremely happy
> with the decision. Our new nicotine is much cleaner (less oxidized).
> This will also affect the color of liquids in their birthing stage.

> So the things that have changed are: the weather (shipping conditions),

>
> Hope this answers a few of your questions. As for letting your BH set
> for a week or two, that is purely up to you as to taste, not color.

So that should settle everything. I know I feel a whole lot better now!

Try vaping at 6.6v's with a lr duel coil and tell me you dont feel coolness in your throat! :)

I can't imagine there being any coolness vaping anything at 6.6v with a dual coil carto. I can only imagine tasting burnt filler material  seriously though, I've never tasted any hint of menthol in bounty hunter, and I've been through about 60ml of it. maybe someone spiked your bounty hunter?

Well I hear it's different for everybody. The reason I was vaping dc's at 6.6v's is because my mod was under performing, which I figured out not to long ago. Yeah Ipet.. Someone spiked my bounty hunter with mouthwash or menthol crystals... ;) What ev fools, I feel menthol.

EDIT: Actually you people could be right, I may be using bountyhunter mixed with their Ry4, on accident.

I was vaping my bounty hunter looking for the menthol and you may be right. there may be a touch o something. everyone talks about how sweet it is but I vape a lot of sweet juices and while there's a hint of vanilla, to me it's not sweet at all. NLV's vanilla and caffe latte is wayyyyy sweeter to me. *happy sigh* I love their juices.

Hmmm... actually, the RY4 shouldn't be mentholated either. Check your mouth for a cough drop the next time you're vaping

Seriously though, I dropped two drops of menthol in your bounty hunter while you were sleeping a few days ago, just to mess with you ;)
