I'm new to DIY, just starting to play with Loranns flavors to improve flavors in my premade juices and stretching some too strong juices a bit with VG. So I'm just playing around. I've been curious about the vodka/everclear additives and their function.
I saw a post a while back about using a bit of bourbon to thin VG. I just made a juice with premade RY4 24mg. I love RY4 but wish for a touch more caramel and would love to enjoy it at night so I was stretching it out with VG and adding about 5% Loranns caramel flavoring. Great flavor but yes it was awfully thick, no throat hit, and I was only getting vapor on my Vapor King with my pass through. So I added a couple drops of bourbon(only alcohol I had handy) to it, figured wth if I burn up a cartomizer no biggie, darn things are intended to be disposable anyway even though they last forever.
WOW is all I can say, throat hit better than the original juice was at 24mg, ample vapor even with my little battery now. So I've made a great bedtime vape that tastes like dessert but feels like a good hi nic vape. Bourbon, who knew!
