Hello everyone!

So I am not a new vaper but relatively new to dripping, however I have a pretty well rounded understanding of what I am doing. Ohms law is no issue for me and I'm using safe MXJO batteries with my mechs. I started with a panzer and subtank which i love but I think it would be more suited for a box mod. I have a Mutation x that pretty much stays between .3 and .5 on a dual coil setup. I also run a dark horse between .25 and .3 on single and dual setups. I am comfortable with these kinds of builds. Recently my friend and I built a 22 gauge dual set up on his dark horse reading at .15 which is a little hot for all day use but the vapor production is amazing and I really enjoy vaping it. (and on a mech thats 117 watts)

So I've been looking into box mods and I'm just kind of stuck between what I want because a lot of people are fine using the more common 30watt mods, which I am not opposed to, but I like lower builds and I want a lot of vapor when I vape.

I've been looking at the Cana Modz 30watt Hana clone from Mt Baker (produced by cloupor) and at it's price I don't really think I can go wrong. The issue comes into play when I realized for just and extra 40$ I could get a new Siegeli 150 watt. Money is not much of an issue in this price range so my question to all of you would be.... is the extra 170watts worth the extra 40$ because to me it seems that way.

Like what if I outgrow the Hana clone and want more of a range because that only fires down to .5 and the sigelei fires to .1? I am just lost and I know this is totally subjective but please give your input in what YOU would do:

Hana DNA 30 clone for $60
OR
Sigelei 150watt for $100

To be honest I would go with the Sigelei 150watt. I have a Sigelei 100 plus. I run pretty similar set-up as you do on my Mutation X V2 and Dark Horse. You definitely would want the 150 watts if you are doing the lower gauge builds. I would look at it like this....You have to get to 30watts before 150watts lol. You might not always use the extra wattage but it is nice to have. Hope this helps.

I've been impressed with the build quality of my Sig 100W (not the plus) I mainly use it at less than 60 watts for my drippers and between 25-35 on a subtank.

I also enjoy the battery life of the dual 18650's and the strong magnets on the battery door that stops it coming off unless I want it to. I think the 150w has the floating 510 pin which would be the only drawback I could speak about on my device.

I too would recommend the 150w Sig for your vaping needs as you described. A 30 watt device just isn't going to give you enough room to grow.

The only thing about the 100-150 watt Sigeleis is the size. They are a big box and I don't think they can be described as pocket friendly. Even less so with an RTA on them. For me it's not an issue, but for some it might be.

Im a noob. don't know much about this stuff. but the lady at the shop recommended me an iStick. got the 30w in blue. like it.

An OUTSTANDING choice. These fine folks are talking about some advanced, sub-ohm, cloud blowin' hardware here though. The iStick is fine for about 90% of us...these are your other 10%. LOL

Agreed, I have an iStick 20 watt too - terrific little device for an out-and-about pocket-friendly setup.

InTheShade: Yeah I also really like the design and I know it's big but I have rather large hands so I'm sure it won't be too much of a big deal. I love the look of the Hana too though and It would look/work awesome with the subtank, but again, I can just dial down the Sigelei to work with the stock coils. That's probably the route I'm headed.

BoomerFZ1: I appreciate that but .......n that thing is ugly haha. Also no use for 200 watts, I hit my friend unregulated box mod with a 300 watt spike that steadies down to 150-170 and a 2 second hit is all I could do.... It blew some freaking clouds though!

Guarantee you will get over that!! If it's all about the vapor, go big or go home I guess! If you want flavor over vapor production, you have lots of options!

The iStick is a very intriguing product. If I were in the market for a mid-wattage box mod, I would be hard pressed to choose between it and the DNA30. I think you made the right choice versus the Sigelei 150W. I just bought the Sigelei and am using it as my daily. I love its build quality but to be honest I'm not going to pushing it beyond 50W. For $70 (CSVape is having a sale on them) I just couldn't pass up the deal.

I know the iStick is the new thing, but I am holding out for the MVP 3.0. I have been very happy with my MVP 2.0 and I just ordered a MVP 20W to use with the SubTank Mini that I purchased along with it. I am not a sub ohm guy, so the 20W should be awesome for my needs. The MVP 3.0 is designed to for all of the sub ohm people and should be available sometime next month. If it holds up to the same standards as previous MVPs, it will be a great mod.
