The first time I saw a box mod was the wooden box mod that SJ had, and it was the prettiest thing I've ever since (I'm into all things like that), and then I saw a couple online from KS.

So I'm just curious but other then the fact that it holds more battery, what's the difference between it and the regular Provari LT eGos around? Is it worth the investment to get one? I'm actually thinking of getting the Provari as the voltage problem I'm having with the LT is quite sickening and I often switch between my LT and my dad's VV ego-T, but the box mod (especially the wooden box mod!) is quite unique uh! Like "hey here's your mini FEDEX parcel that smokes" or like "ehhhh hipster siollllllllll people vape LavaTube all you vape BOX one uh" or like "i'm a box."

Thanks for the advise and tips in advance!

wah what problems with the LT?

I guess from what I have read, box mods are like step down voltage or something. So power wise different. Not really sure of it myself though.

But I personally think it's just another type of PV that caters to those who like theirs boxy. Haha! Like theres those 808 or analog looking ones and 510, ego, mods all. Aesthetics I suppose?

I may be wrong.

Actually, been having this idea for quite a while, that is to make a CR123 box mod that has the 510 connector sunken in rather than on the top of box..

That would make a stealthy little box that has only a drip tip sticking out, retractable lagi best..

Also, a detonator could be a cool mod for fun..

Well, I'm just worried that the voltage might drop when the battery starts to get low, and I have to charge it.

Do you happen to have any issues with it? Like the voltage dropping? Thanks for the advice and tips anyway :D

Voltage will inevitably decrease as the battery drains, but you can easily add a regulator chip to the mod, there are some ready made voltage regulator chips available in market..

Most regulators have a minimum fire up voltage depending on the output setting. So when batts are going flat it's either fire or don't fire no half fuq fire.

depending on which type of regulator u're using(buck or boost topology), the max current output is also different. Although there are regulators which employ both buck and boost they usually require some MCU programming and trade-offs.

For vaping longevity and consistency, personally I prefer the buck regulator.

Agree that buck is prefered, me too, you the boxmod man, don't think I'll want to argue that with you.. :D

But was thinking of a Texas TPS63061 buck-boost running with 2 CR123 to give a constant 5, then again that'll take a hugh hand to be stealthy..

Hahaha~ worst when they find bottles of juice, batteries, wicks and wires in your luggage..

Typical liquid bomb kit look-a-like..

I think I am going to have to do some research

Okay did my research; basically it is something that's inside the LT, Provari, BoxMod etc. and it regulates the device. But I guess y'all are right, it is impossible to have regular voltage till the end.

Syniche; imma be getting one of your Black VV mod soon, hope it works well :D excited to pimp dat .... up man gonna put some nice skins and suedes on it.
