Normally, I could care less as there isn't much I can do if someone buys a bunch of our stuff, rebottles it and resells it.

However, when a reseller (without our consent or permission) decides to proudly tout our brand named electronics on their site, and marked up to an INSANE degree, something needs to be done about it.

Take a look at their atomizer prices:

Nuts, eh? Now take a look at their manual battery prices:

Apparently the kiosk they have in the mall, sells 15ml of e-liquid for $60 and claims that this is equivalent to 4 cartons of cigarettes!

Just thought I'd post this here for YOUR information. You can do with this whatever you feel like. We'll be taking legal steps on this end and warn these cats about violating federally registered trademarks. (Yes, we are!)

Ugh...that's awful. Hopefully the legal action goes well. I'm no lawyer, but I believe that you must send them a C&D letter before you take any action. I may be wrong though.

while it is a testament to the quality and value of the product which you sell...it is a real shame that they are ripping people off (and potentially turning people OFF of e-cigarettes that could benefit from trying them...)

Yes, it is crummy to use the Tasty Vapor name and it is also crummy to sell this stuff at OUTRAGEOUS prices. BUT, and there is a BUT. I cannot find the Tasty Vapor logo on any of their products. So my guess is they are just using the name. They should not be using your name either, but I don't think he is reselling your products. Just thought you should be aware. I called and told Mrs. TV about this.

I read in another thread today that a person saw Tasty Vapor eGo's for sale at a mall kiosk, the same ones on Tasty Vapor's site.

The real business's in todays economy price things without a ton of greed, sell big numbers of goods and have great customer service.!! I looked REALLY hard, apparently that's not even OUR branded stuff. They're just using our name.

As for the Ego products in the mall....I can't see that far yet.

Surely to god, there is no one in their right mind that would pay 45 bucks for 510 battery or 45 bucks for 15 ml. of 0 nicotine juice. I seriously doubt that there are enough stupid people in the world to keep this company in business.

I'd like to think there aren't enough stupid people to keep them in business. Sadly though there are probably more than enough. Mainly its sad because each person that buys from them allows them to continue ripping off someone else.

Obviously they are free to do almost whatever they want, aside from stealing registered trademarks. However, to run a company in such a fashion you have to be a pretty despicable person in my personal opinion.

Anyway, here's to hoping they get what is coming to them.

There are a couple of stores in NYC that sell Vapure stuff. I went to check them out (in case of emergency) and the prices were $35 for a battery, $50 for 5ml of liqud -- that kind of thing. It was clearly based on the retail theories of "no one else around here carries it" and "we'll give them 2 shelves in a very little display case. We probably won't sell much but whatever we do sell will be pure profit."

Think about the prices the best vendors at ECF charge. If any one of them decided to sell in a mall, they'd probably have to raise prices by 50% to cover their added expenses. But, in return, they would provide their customers with quality PVs and useful information. And their prices would still be cheaper that what places like this charge.

Anyway, as far as GlobalSmoke goes, I would be glad to boycott them but that presupposes that I would have ever considered buying from them in the first place. The chance of that happening falls somewhere below "when pigs fly."

It sucks to see someone try and discredit anyone in the e-cig market, let alone Tasty Vapor. Seems as if GlobalSmoke has the exact opposite attitude of Geoff and it's really sad to see someone potentially discredit Tasty Vapor in this way. I would be really surprised if GlobalSmoke stayed in business longer than 6 months at this rate...

I assure you they "had" TV products at the kiosk and on the website.I took a look again just alil bit ago and they have removed the TV egos they sold on their site. The egos had the TV logo right on em but wer in their box.Seems to me that they may have caught wind of this and in fear of a lawsuit, removed them.All that set aside they still use the "Tasty Vapor" in their product description as to show some link to your company. I noticed all of this because i have been looking for a ego kit lately and saw your ego's when you started a thread about the sell of your ego's but i didnt have a credit card to order.

They had the exact same egos as you with the exact same TV logo on them....Now I dont see them on their site.If anyone bought one of these overpriced egos from them i hope they can come forward to verify my observation.

I'd sent the owner of the website information that they are not an authorized re-seller of TV products, that Tasty Vapor is a registered trademark and what they are doing is trademark infringement.

I might have called "personal army" by posting here. And in all honesty, I had hoped that some outraged people might share their opinion with the site owners as well.

But it rolls down to, I need to do some reports from the site and see who has been buying lots of TV electronics and see if certain things "match up".

Knowing what they're doing, I'll be banning their account and IP if I can find it.

But I truly would like to see the e-cig community leaning on these sheisters as they truly are trying to capitalize on the gullibility of people who's only crimes have been getting addicted to smoking and are simply trying to improve the quality of their health and lives.

Our prices are set the way they are because we truly do want to set some standards where pricing is concerned, NOT treat vaping like a fly-by-night trend, make as much money as we can, then BOLT.

We're in this because we happen to give a damn and want to make this as affordable and as enjoyable as possible.

I'm sure a few of you have figured that out already. Kind of sad that someone would in turn buy our stuff and use OUR name and products to do the very thing we're trying to avoid.

But enough steam blowing.

I sent them a email today telling them they really need to get a grip on reality and you wouldnt be to happy about using your name and havent gotten a reply back, not surprising but it was rather disturbing to see it. Hopefully I helped in some way as that was not right at all. Anyone who would buy there stuff at those insane prices I feel bad for and I hope you tear them a new on Geoff.

But for the record, we don't have "groupies", just people enthusiastic about the prospect of not having to use very cheap tasting junk to help them stick with vaping.
