I have posted the following correspondence to the e-mail provided in their About Us section of the website:

First off, I need you to know that Tasty Vapor™ is a federally registered trademark of Braithwaites Consumer Goods, LLC. Many electronic cigarette users and moderators of the Electronic Cigarette Forum have alerted me to the fact that you are selling electronic cigarettes and accessories under an assumed brand name "Tasty Vapor". After investigating your website for myself, I must advise you to cease and desist from the use of our trade name Tasty Vapor™.

I am providing the opportunity to act on your own accord and remove all instances of this name from your site and kiosks to avoid further and legal action. I will continue to check the site and affirm if you have complied.

Hopefully, no further action will be necessary.

Thank you in advance,

Geoff Braithwaite
Owner/CEO

The only things I can fault you on are that "First off" is a terrible way to start a professional letter, and generally you wouldn't want to use "I" when referring to your company/trademark. It's more of a "our" or "we" issue. It's not a big deal, just kinda a formality thing. However, the point was well made and clear, definitely should be sufficient. We'll see how they respond.

And these are just suggestions, you really don't need to listen/follow/acknowledge/invite over for brunch/ any of them.

Hah hah hah!!!! This person JUST responded. I thought it better NOT to respond to his e-mail and just fake the appearance of being "Gracious" in the face of this obvious e-cig behemoth of a company. Here is Global Smoke's response:

Geoff,

Just saw this email after I responded to your first one.

First off the Tasty Vapor product is not even sold on the kiosk level and is an outdated product line of Global SMoke, LLC. I m more than happy to "cease and desist" as you put it. I also think there are nice ways to do things and rude ways to do things. Threatening me is not how you win this battle as my trademark is probably allot stronger than yours.

I will not fight for this name and gladly relinquish it to you. I am sure the ECF jokers would love to get rid of my website as they hate my pricing but truly have no idea who I am or what I have done for this industry.

I wish the ECF would focus all their energy on fighting the real criminals "BIG tobacco" who are winning the war on banning our e-cig products in the USA. I fight to help Americans quit smoking not sit on my ... and complain about somebody's high price website!!

I will have the name Tasty Vapor taken down from my website within 48 hours.

If you ever want to start over on the right foot I have given you my phone # below. Please don't hesitate to use it anytime. In this business connections are everything.

Thank You,

Global Smoke, LLC.

Connections are everything...my bottom! What about product quality and pricing standards not to mention moral support for a lot of people? This is where we drew our strengths from, not "connections". Profiteers just love to dress themselves up as important so they feel better about taking your money, then your wooden leg after beating you with it.

Good riddance.

And oh yeah, Keveck, Keveck, two by four, couldn't get out the bathroom door.... Hah hah..weeeeeeee!

All kidding aside, the worst reflection on the vendors in this industry, are the profiteers. This is who the regulators will shine the light on as examples of what we ALL do, accurate or not. I kind of feel this is why it's imperative in this unregulated marked to be a vendor trying to set what WE PERCEIVE to be standards to go by in terms of taste, quality, pricing, etc.

This person touts Big tobacco as the enemy, but would gladly sell you an Ego kit for $155! Sell you 15ml of liquid for $60 and tell you it's the equivalent of 4 cartons of cigarettes?....

I'll say no more.

Nice job Geoff.

And as for Global smokes prices I think they only hurt themselves by keeping them high. But to try and use TV's good name to up their sales is not right at all.

As for TV it seems like you love what you do and believe in the product you sell and the people you sell to. I havent tried any of your juice but I always hear 2 names thrown around when it comes to good juice and good prices. And one of those names is Tasty Vapor. I wont mention the other name but i hear its the bomb....lol.

Have a good night sir

Very Doubtful!! Besides, how is one trademark stronger than another? There is no such thing. The Law is the Law. Whoever registers a trademark first, OWNS IT! Big corporations fight it out because they have millions of dollars at their disposal. But the truth is, this is cut and dry. There should not ever be any question to who owns a trademark. All they need to do it look at the date when it was first registered. That's it. This guy over at GlobalHoax.com is an idiot just trying to rape innocent people of their hard earned cash. Simple as that!

You Rock Geoff! Keep up the great work!

CV :p

You don't need to fear mentioning another vendor's name. Dropping advertisements, endorsements and links to a vendors forum on another vendor's forum is in bad taste though.

We don't consider ourselves a competitor, but a player. Everybody has their own preferences and I'm REALLY POSITIVE there are droves of people who appreciate what another vendor does more than ours. It's perfectly fine. We're VERY HONESTLY gracious to be considered in the upper echelons in terms of quality products. That means a great deal. So, we take the gracious route and not the "...... contest" route.

But with this whole scenario, I walked around all day wondering how to address it and "head on" was the only answer that came to mind. People were honestly getting confused thinking this person was some sort of associate of ours and I just needed any possible mistakes in product identity or association to end. PROMPTLY.

The "ECF would like to get rid of me but they don't know who I am" statement is a little weird. Is he hiding from the ECF hit men who would torch his kiosks if only they knew where to find them? If he's doing such wonderful things for the electronic cigarette industry, why doesn't he want people to know who he is?

In order to have enough stock of TV hardware on hand to sell, he either placed a large order with ECF or TV's supplier made extras with the logo and is wholesaling them cheap.

I'm pretty certain this company was not selling our products though, but simply calling them "Tasty Vapor" this and "Tasty Vapor" that.

After running reports and looking at transactions, there wasn't any one person buying enough of those particular products that I would think they were in possession of a large quantity of Tasty Vapor electronics.

Still, the possibility of being associated by trademark name, with someone obviously profiteering from the public's attempts to be health conscious...that was enough for me.

But yeah, what's all this "The ECF" business? The "ECF" IS the global community. If you have the world telling you you're a profiteering ....-head, there might be an inkling of truth in the matter...

LOL, classic stuff. The GlobalSmokes guy is obviously an idiot!

He spells 'a lot' which is TWO words as 'allot'. Which is not even the common misuse of the word. Usually the mistake is to say 'alot'. I'm not sure where he got that from?

Regardless, the guy is obviously an idiot. He might screw a few people over for some quick cash, but, his business model is 'allot' of crap.

Also a note has been made about the assassination being called off... for now. LOL

ECF jokers hmmm is that referring to the administrators or the users of ECF? Sorry 'Global Joke' I love the terms I first read in here 'BIg Tobacco', Big Pharmacy' etc: is there a 'Big kiosk'? If not we can start one now and add 'global joke' to it.

I had never heard of this company before, and after clicking the links you posted, obviously will never go back there again. This company is a joke and will not last. The only thing to hope for, I guess, is that newcomers to vaping will do a little research and steer clear of that place.

On a side note tastyvapor.us will be the only place I get my stuff as soon as you start selling 510 cartomizers *hint hint* :D
