I bought a Prosmoke a week ago, and I really enjoy vaping, I have not had a cigarette since, however, yesterday one of my batteries died, and today the other one did, in the exact same way, both times I was driving home from work vaping and it would not stop "vaping" even when I was not puffing on it, so I unscrewed the battery and when I screwed it back in nothing happens, when I plug it in the charger nothing happens, usually the LED flashes 3 times and then the chargers LED turns from green to red, now nothing happens. The batteries do not smell like they have fried, I have been around electronics a long time and know that fried smell. I read about some batteries having a "recovery" mode, but not sure if my specific model has it. I have ordered an ego, but I do not want to go buy a pack of smokes until it arrives, please let me know if there is any way to get there to work again. :(

Now I'm assuming the bats are auto. It happened to me a few times before I went manual, and it was usually because I got liquid in them. You can try cleaning the connector and then letting them sit for a couple days to dry---this never really worked for me.
What you need to do is order more and always have spares on hand. And, even if you prefer the autos, have some manuals around.

Did you have the window open? One flaw of auto batteries is that wind or vibration can trigger the drag sensor and turn them on. Another is that is liquid gets in the hole in the end of an auto's battery, the drag sensor can get sticky and either not work or stay on.

See if the vendor you bought from has a warranty on batteries. A few do.

My recommendation is a manual battery Joye 510.

This is one guy's fix - not exactly the same problem but he managed to open them up and get them working.

Problem is - if your battery electronics actually fried then you cannot revive them.

Another thing to try is dipping just the threading part in rubbing alcohol to get it in them, then shake it out and let it dry.

BTW if Prosmoke charges a lot for batteries, and you really want to stick with the model you have, just buy M401 manual batteries - they are a bit longer but still about 110mm, looks like a cig. I think LiteCigUSA.net has M401 batteries. They should work with Prosmoke. MyPVSHop.com has more color choices. If you have an M403 PCC, try M402 manuals instead (I think M403 and M402 use the same PCC, M401 needs a different PCC)
