Hi...

I just assembled my Reo Mini and am loving it. :vapor: A few questions/concerns came to mind.

1. How much is a dab on Noalox? You can't get too much Noalox on the tip of a toothpick.
2. My door is sliding around. I'm probably holding it wrong. What is the best way to hold it?
3. It seems as if I have to press my switch quite hard. Is that sort of a protective mechanism?
4. When my atty seems to dry out, I gently squonk. I can see the juice with air bubbles go up the tube, but when I release, the juice goes back down. Then my atty is flooded.

I took some advice I read on this forum by using a 6mg use. I know I'll be vaping this all day. I can already see I need another one.

A dab is just a dab...I put a little on the top of the battery before inserting it. The mini button does seem a little stiff..more so than on my grand anyway...dunno why...
As far as squonking, most recommend the blind squonk method....press in the juice bottle while you draw on it, until you feel resistance with the airflow...then stop pressing the bottle, and vape...makes a big difference with flooding problems...
glad to hear you're enjoying the reo...

Oh and the door, we wrap a piece of electrical tape around the battery, let it overlap on the ends, so when you stick the ends together, you create a little grab tab...(does this make sense?).
Makes it easier to get the battery out, and the tab sticking up puts a drag on the door and it doesn't slide as easy...

You don't need much. You can put a little on the battery tip also.

You just have to try different positions, turn it around, put your fingers different.

You are probably pushing it way harder than needed. Hold the atty close to your ear, listen as you push the firing button for a sec, you can gauge how much pressure you need. Also, it will become easier to push as you use it.
4. When my atty seems to dry out, I gently squonk. I can see the juice with air bubbles go up the tube, but when I release, the juice goes back down. Then my atty is flooded.
Look around the bottom of the atty when you squonk, you should see just a little juice peek out the holes. You don't have to keep squonking many times. Also, you may want to try sucking on the atty and blind squonking, till you feel the pressure of the juice, then fire and vape. It is a little learning curve, but will become second nature quick.

1. Just a dab, a tiny bit, what came with your REO is AT LEAST a year's supply. But, with a new REO you shouldn't need to put any on it for about a month, or if you clean it.
2. I hold my REO in my right hand with the squonk hole facing me. I rest the bottom across the second joint of my little finger, and rest my thumb on the firing button. Index, middle and ring fingers, loosely cup the side. You are probably holding everything too tight. Relax. If that doesn't solve your door problem, check and make sure that you haven't lost the magnet on the door. You can also put a piece of electrical tape around your battery and make a tab to grab when you remove it...it will also help stabilize the door.
3. The switch locks. Make sure that you turn the switch completely counter-clockwise. Now press LIGHTLY and listen to hear if the atty is firing. Most of us have an initial inclination to squash down hard on the button when it really isn't necessary.
4. Which atty are you using? Don't look for bubbles in the tube, if it is a 510, look for a little bit of juice just peeking through the holes of the catch cup. If it is a 306, try these tips: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/190995-how-use-306-mini.html
