What would be a shopping list : i wanna make some 100ml batches as i go
thru 15ml a day
I'd recommend a new mixer start smaller than 100ml batches. If you make a
juice that reminds you of month old sweaty gym socks with tones of cat litter box, instead of what you were intending to make, pouring 100ml down the drain can feel painful. (It isn't really painful, but I think I hear my wallet crying in pain.)
Pg and vg as i want to make a mixture -50/50 should be fine
Yep, PG and VG are both good to have on hand. Remember your flavorings count for the ratio and so does your nicotine solution. (Most flavoring is PG based.)
Flavoring - how much to order ? How do i know how concentrated it is ?
Well you can read threads on the subject. There's one in the sticky's and a few down here in the normal chatter. Just keep in mind what works for one, does not work for all. So the best you'll get is a general idea of how concentrated it is.
Nicotine concentrate - is this based in pg or vg also? And is a certain concentration better than another
Yep, it's a deadly thing if it wasn't diluted in PG or VG. Concentration, I'd suggest going at least higher than twice the level you'd wish to vape. (Not just twice as high, but bit higher than that.) Read the sticky's and be safe. Even though you are probably resistant to nicotine, it is still quite toxic if you get enough in your system.
Yes, please.
Anything im missing - i guess ill do the calculations when i get the goodies or must i do them now ?
What makes a good vendor ? The quality of their flavoring? Pg and vg is basically stock right no matter where ya go ?
Im sure this question been asked a thousand times - its just alot of posts get side-tracked sometimes.
I'm sure you're missing a bunch. Dannyv45 has some nice blogs that cover many aspects of starting DIY.
E-Cigarette Forum - dannyv45 - Blogs and I have some blogs on Flavoring Levels, Butterfly Farts and Unicorn Tears for making a good juice great, and some other subject on mixing. I'm sure I knew what I was typing when I typed it.
Playing with a calculator is always a good thing, so start now and make some pretend mixes now and then you can ask specific questions. (One common example is, "Why do I get a negative number in this field?")
I think a good vendor is one that has what I want in stock when I want it and ships in a reasonable amount of time and all that for a fair price. Since taste is subjective, the "quality" of flavorings tends to be subjective.
USP PG is pretty much USP PG. I have noticed a difference between USP VG's compared to other USP VG's though and have formed my own opinions of what I like and look for.
No yelling at the newbie.
I cannot promise that. I'm good at yelling. Just ask my sons or my dog or even my wife's cat. Grandmother always told me to find something you're good at and do it. So I discovered I was good at yelling. So good that sometimes I can yell without making a sound and people cower. I think I was born with that talent. It would be a shame to hide it from you too.
Help? Preeeeeetttttttty pleeeeeaaase with sugar on top
