I think this thread is also a good insight into what prohibition does.

The OP has my respect. I had a tough enough time switching completely to vaping without government actively trying to keep me from doing so. I cannot imagine being the healthier person I am today if I were in the OP's circumstances.

Hopefully helpful places like ECF will remain within reach of those trying to do what is best for themselves against their governments' wishes.

Indeed, as well as a reminder how lucky most of us are to have so many choices and the liberty to chose among them. And perhaps a timely reminder to those who have yet to submit statements to the FDA before today's deadline. Let's hope none of us ever have to choose between smoking and smuggling straight nic in shampoo bottles.

You guys are lucky to have a government that is willing to listen, and you are lucky you be able to order your stuff online or walk into a store and get your stuff. It would be a shame if you don't fight for those rights. I wish I can be of any help...most countries follow precedents established by the US government in these matters (although we do take pride in our own stupidity some times), so it's in our best interest to help out if we can.

I think it's helpful when people from other places who don't have the options we do share their stories. It is fine to read about other places in news stories and professional opinion articles, but personal stories from real people do a much better job of providing actual insight and perspective. That's why, even though the internet often seems like a gigantic intellectual kitty litter box, these bits and pieces of real experiences that persons like yourself share bring people closer together, and I have hope that all of this increased communication will benefit us all somewhere down the road.
