Riva battery charging via USB

My husband got a new Riva from Liberty Flights and its great! He is having a problem with charging via USB though. The green light is on and its just always green when he goes to charge the Riva. The Riva blinked at him today (needing charge) and he plugged it in and still a green light, its not charging.

If he plugs it in and charges via wall socket it seems to be working. The light is red and I *think* its charging.

My 510 charges fine via usb. Well, it is charging in a PCC case which is charging via USB.

Is there something wrong or am I missing something?

Maybe? I guess it is different than charging the PCC case for my 510? It is a usb extension cord. I will try it some other way and see if it works.

Most likely a current issue with the USB port. I've got the Riva and just built a new computer. With my previous computer I couldn't get the Riva to charge via USB so I had to use the USB/AC adapter. With my new computer it charges just fine via USB.

Same problem with my brand new Riva. USB via computer, light stays green. With the wall charger, fine. I have a computer that's less than a month old, though. Maybe a model-specific issue? I have a lenovo.

BTW, thanks for the answer to a problem that was causing me to tear my hair out!
