I just started vaping today and I used this forum to help make my purchase decision so I figured I would jump in.

I purchased two eGo-C Twist batteries (650 and 1,000) and some eGo Vision Clearomizers that just came in the mail this afternoon. I also picked up the charger / wall adapter . I'm just getting used to the twist but I really like it so far.

I only have two flavors of eliquid to start out; caramel apple and strawberry banana smoothie. But, a much more flavorful batch of eliquids from Vape Dudes should be arriving tomorrow.

Anyway, I look forward to learning and expanding my new hobby here :)

Congratulations on all things....starting vaping, making a good choice for your first PV, finding this forum, etc. Welcome. I've been vaping for almost 2 years now, and it's the most fun I've had in years. I can't believe I walked away from a 2 PAD habit of 40 (yes! 40) years so easily. Fine-tuning your juice preferences will be fun, too....good luck with that.

I was vaping at 4.2v on a 3 ohm carto and that got me off the last few cigs I was smoking each day. After a few weeks, I decided that 3.7 was a milder vape that was easier on my lungs. I switch voltages up and down to suit what I want that day. Too much voltage and my lungs seem to protest! Different juices blossom at different voltages.

The eGo got me off something like 85% of the cigs I was smoking. The Provari got me off the rest.

Any VV mod can do that for you. It's all about quality and how many years it will last when you buy a high end mod. You can buy a really well made mod and use it for the rest of your life, as long as repair service is available. The repair service on a Chinese mod is likely to be a repeat purchase.

I didn't think I would be switching through the voltages much while I was getting used to it, but I am... and right around 4.2 seems to work best for me too. I have watched a few Provari YouTube vids and I saw the Z-Atty-Pro which I thought was pretty awesome, but I have a lot of learning to do before I would invest in something like that. They are cool though!
