asdaq whats the dimensions on the brass tube you used for the battery compartment inner diameter, outer diameter, it looks like a perfect fit. Did you get it from an online metal supply?

Price was 12-14 when I got it a year ago, might be worth waiting a bit. They did have the best price then. It is a very nice size for 18xxx, a bit of electrical tape on the interior can snug it up as tight as you like.

Those are the 1000 mah on the left? I almost pulled the trigger on some of those that are in the 15mm range, but would need to have onboard charging and actually wire them in. A K&S 1/2" OD tube will be too tight on the inside by some piddly amount, just enough to be annoying.

I remember using some li-ion 18650 Firefox batteries on my airsoft gun. I was wondering if I can use them on my mechanicals cause they're rated at 10-15C which I think might pop off my coils.

If so I would be screwed.....I'm using a 6000mah lipo with an 85c rating

Yes higher C is good thing, not so necessary in a mechanical device, but quite a bit for a boosted circuit.

Yeah just the tab....judging by the radio station in your video you could drive down and pick some up....that is if Poland is in the Seattle area

Oh and they are far from soft and pliable...I actually wish they were soft and pliable....guess ill have to stick to using the battery shrinker/stretcher.

I hate the round aw type cells performance and life cycle....I'm throwing together a super fancy DNA20 tube mod using 1 of the 1000's. I speculate that the 1000 will performe as well or better than a high drain 2000mah 18650 and have a considerably longer life span.

But we will see....I could be totally wrong

Heh, KEXP streaming radio, my favorite station (NPR a 2nd) and Poland is not in the Seattle area until late June. So far I'd only looked at Hobbyking as an online source, not so sure of their physical presence there.
