When you say quick change, are you talking you used a neo magnet for the negitive post connection so the they click together? Cause that would be very cool to create a universal connection that was magnetic!

They are your atties derJuf, just nobody noticed the flat bottoms when I posted them before.

For a dedicated connection it just needs a ring magnet, a post connected to a wire, and a bit of isolation and can be very compact.

Yes like those, but those sound more powerful. These are small N35's and can be pulled apart. Recessed in a tube style mod would be ideal.

LOL mums the word, funny you should mention meagnetic connectors I did this drawing about a year ago when people started using neo magnets for case connection. Just never did anything with it. But would be a great concept for quick change.

Would definantly provide a great connection. Positive would never connect to neg etc...

Dan, that looks good, but with four magnets, they have to be set perfectly level/ flat to make sure pos and neg have good contact. Or they aren't rigidly set.

I really wanted to get any 'china ecig' parts out of this, but that carto stopper was great to cork up the bottom. Here's most of the parts before assembly:

And just before pressing it in:

the carto stopper's hole compresses down on the 16G needle when squeezed into the 8mm opening and a 8mm OD ring magnet is press fit on the very bottom. The adapter or male end has a spring loaded 1.2mm brass nail and a 9.5mm OD ring magnet, just so that I can use those up (the center hole is only 3.2mm on those and too small for other uses, also the 9.5mm is useful for 510's and close to 10mm).
