Brass Boo

Big thanks to 5cardstud for advice on getting wood cutoffs and Mistinthewoods for how to finish the wood

Brass and Bamboo, 18650 @5v with a ptn04050CAZ and 100µf 25v caps. One 5/8" hole and one 3/4" hole and lots of shaping. There is a 5/8" brass tube inside for the electronics and another as a sleeve around the genisis atomizer, but empty space between the two. The switch is magnetic, smaller on the inside, and can be locked down for safety. The bamboo is finished in linseed oil and 2 coats of beeswax, so hopefully it will hold up well to juice and grime.

My favorite part is that it has SS threaded rod and actual brass cap nuts, took me a year to find those.

Wow it is just fabulous! It's beautiful, stylish and kind of old fashioned (steam-punk) looking. I love the grain of the bamboo. It's very cool.

WOW, that is classy steampunk stylie. You can definitely start selling these for hundreds of dollars, especially if you added some VV in there which looks like all you would need is a POT. Would be awesome if you could integrate that somehow into the locking switch.

Thanks everyone, you are all too kind. I've thought about making it vv, but with a genisis it really doesn't need to be. All I really want with the booster is the steady voltage until the battery is done, and a larger coil. And there probably is some way to put a pot in the switch but I'm trying to keep it small. I'm a little worried that the top plate has a little too much open area though. Needs something else...

And a coop would be me and one person maybe two.
