It has finally caught up with me. Today I've hit the point were vaping costs the same as smoking 20 marlboro lights a day. It took me the best part of 4 months (117 days), but I'm here now and it only gets cheaper for now on. I've got enough atomisers, batteries and fluid to see me through for a while.

What can I buy next then? :)

For me too, this has not been cheaper than smoking yet, but I'm only about 9 weeks in. Like many others it took me a while to find the flavors and devices that I liked the most. I think it'll probably be around the 4 month mark that I'll break even too. I just got a Chuck and 150 mls of juice, so I don't NEED to buy anything for a while, but I do love gadgets so much.

The Chuck is a good addition if you're looking to buy a new mod. Sturdy, well crafted, good price, and can be used as a weapon in extreme cases. :)

Yeah, that's part of the problem. I'd have broken even ages ago otherwise. But I've accumulated a DSE084 (twice), Gamucci Micro, 510 (three time), 901, Torchbox, boxmod and a Janty stick. Along with various liquids.

I follow the forums daily, but no idea what The Chuck is?

After buying our chargers, carts, batteries, juice and attys, it took us about 12 weeks to break even. My wife and I smoked about 1.5 to 2 cartons a week of the cheapest cigs we could find. We have now spent about $750 as opposed to over $1,000. Now we just buy a battery or atty from time to time and a couple of large bottles of juice once a month. That's about $75 a month instead of $300.

I cant put links in yet. 2 posts away. There is a massive thread "How to spend a Saturday" that has lots of pics and info on The Chuck. He slapped up a really quick web page at ThagBuilt com. He admits the site is low rent, but it gives the basic info and some pics.

Well, my current order is in a town about 30 miles away. Once it finally makes it here, I'll have about 70 attys to get me through for awhile. I could stop, but it depends on when the FDA slams the door. If it looks like it will take longer and I can get another order in, I probably will.
If I just used what I got now, it will no longer cost money except maybe if I build more mods. And of course VG and flavoring.
Even then, I figure, if cost is spread out over two or more years, the cost per month will be about the same as a couple packs of analogs. If it goes over three years, it will average out to a couple bucks a month.
And I do hope someone from the government is reading this because they will realize they aren't making anymore big tax dollars of this household.

As I typed, the atty arrived at my door!!!
