I've noticed that the consensus opinion is to start at low wattage and gradually work up to your desired watts. On my penguin and dolphin this is not possible, so I wonder how important gradual is as compared to priming (saturation) of the coils.
Not only letting it sit overnight, but on my only non-adjustable wattage setup, I take fairly short hits and/or pulse the button when starting a new coil. Then try to release the fire button before stopping the draw. And if possible, I try not to start a new coil when the battery is fully charged. I have nothing at all to confirm any of that is necessary or even a good idea, just seems it might end up working out better.
That's also why I only have one non-adjustable mod.
I always give a few nonpowered pulls before firing, if I then get a semi dry hit, I repeat the steps, seems to work for me. I have 2 penguins and 2 dolphins, the more I use them the more I like them.
