FWIW when i first got my rx200/crown setup, i ran the .25 coil for a week before i started getting gross hits. I did vape heavily, around 6ml daily so roughly 42ml of juice vaped at about 70-80watts.
Damn 6ml is heavy? What nic level? I just started vaping a month ago and vaping 3 or 2 ml tanks a day.

The first time around i didn't follow the protocol as per that video on u tube for priming crown coils. I put about 7-8 drops on the top and then a couple drops on each hole on the sides and let it sit. I then took a few light non powered drags with the air holes closed.

When i put in the .5 coil i did it exactly how it was shown in the video and its been fine for 8 days. We'll see how much longer this one lasts.

So still using the same coil as I was when I started this thread. No dry hits or burnt hits at all but I'm on tank #17 at 4ml per tank that would be 68 ml on the same coil but I noticed the flavor or taste isn't as strong as before. Do you lose flavor before getting burnt or dry puffs? Previously I wouldn't lose much flavor just get dry hits!

Puffs is another - Not So Good - way to visit Usability.

Puffs per tank will vary with Mood as much as mechanical changes.

Okay, As a Wick breaks in it will start absorbing better and better, then start gradually falling off. (One of the reasons people say Start low and break in a new coil.)
1) At Max absorption, the wick will empty the tank quickest(per Draw) The tank may seem a bit Flooded if power is set to low.
2) As the wick falls off from build up, it will once again reduce absorption. Caution should be taken and power slightly lowered to avoid burning the wick. Draws may seem tighter with less overall performance.

So...........total Puffs will change back and forth - to a point.

Then there is Mood Vaping.
Under normal conditions, ones Draw (may) be very consistent in both Air volume(pressure) and over Time(draw).
There is also Stress Vaping as well as Enjoyment Vaping. Both may increase Draw Pressure and Time, increasing Liquid Flow and Decreasing Puffs per Tank.

Other Factors such as Ambient air pressure, Air Temperature, etc. also have some effect.
