Bridge on Atty off center??

Is this normal? My carts are being burned because of it.....

Its way off center and I have no way of avoiding contact with the bridge??

Im afraid to move it knowing how fragile they are

I moved one of mine to center with tweezers. Atty barely performs now so probably not a good idea to mess with it.

No don't move it - I have one like this - the wick sort of sticks out to one side (I can see it) and the bridge leans slightly to the other - it works fine though with me dripping (havent tried it with carts)

I would contact the vendor you got it from, I am sure they will take care of it.

I think the 901 (not sure about others since I don't own any others) is built to be that way. The carts on those are "D" shaped. I just make sure the exposed filling is over the bridge.

I've successfully moved the bridge a couple of times. I just did it slow at room temperature. Also didn't use pliers or tweezers. I just used a tiny screwdriver. YMMV.

You can gently "persuade" them with a toothpick !! I've done this on many now since finding out from an experienced modder that it's possible and works.

Clearly, the OP mentioned that his/her carts were being burned. Perhaps no 'burnt taste' was noted, but this often is the next part of the discussion.

Unless you have something to add to my comments other than "a burnt taste was never mentioned before you brought it up" then please feel free to make some informed comments.

Perhaps a better response on my part would have been that an atomizer bridge dies not necessarily burn cartridges.

The bridge DOES heat up enough to melt the cart housing if the bridge is off center. And if you use a manual battery and do too long of a cycle that bridge will glow cherry red.

OP, just go ahead and nudge it with a tooth pick, nothing will happen just go slow and gentle (some people remove the bridge completely and stickly drip with their 510 with no waddding).

Worse comes to worse if you feel intimedated, you could always clip the cart housing where it touches the bridge for now, but you'd have to remember to line up where you clipped it each time you top up or refill.
