Hello.

I always burn the wick, I cant help it. Im a big dude with big lungs and I want big thick draws! I got a GatorVapor VGO 900 mAH today, and woo mama. One thing I noticed right off about the atomizer is the fact that its different from every 510 Ive ever seen. Theres no wick :)

The bridge on a atty looks like a sos pad, theres thats stuff around the inside of the atty under the bridge. This atty with no wick has just metal around the atty. Im sorry if Im doing a horrible job explaining myself but Id like if anyone knows anything about this.

Well, I'm not a big dude, but I'm getting the burnt taste with all my atty's too. Please let us know if this new model solves the problem. I'm about 2 steps from buying analogs.

I get out & about a lot and occasionally let things get a little dry, with the ensuing really bad taste coming on quick. What I've learned, since it isn't always convenient to stop and wash out/fiddle with/change attys, is that an application of mint or menthol can deodorize it pretty quick. It's probably not the "correct" thing to do, but it can work. If I didn't like mint or menthol, things would be ugly.

I hope it works for the 2 of you.

I can say with absolute certainty that atomizers wicks can burn. I read some who say it cant but it can, and it did. And it has on almost all the ones Ive tried. Ive been removing the wicks when I get them with pretty good results. I know the guy who own the GatorVapor company, Im going to ask him tomorrow if he can get the atomizer that come with his vgo, and if he can, Ill see if he can put them up for sale on his website. And Ill post a link.

What's the purpose of removing the bridge?

Many times that burnt taste is embedded within the mesh (on top of the bridge). I had an atty that I tried everything to remove that yuck taste to no avail. I posted a thread asking for suggestions on getting the burnt taste out. One knowledgeable member said when that happens to him he removes the bridge completely (along with the under wick)...so I thought what the hey let me give it a whirl. Well as soon as I did that and dripped some juice in it "lo and behold" there was no more burnt taste. I swear by this technique now (for only dripping of course).
