In the article.....The association admitted e-cigarettes had the potential to help smokers cut down and quit but said marketing should be restricted so it does not appeal to non-smokers. I dont know of one non-smoker other than us vapers who find e-cigs appealing. What I do know is that they want to keep smokers and devices that look like smoking hidden in a corner so no to "normalize" smoking or vaping.

The BMA are well-known both as proven liars and as what we refer to as 'pharma pimps' in our community: an organisation for hire to the highest bidder, in this case the pharmaceutical industry. Their public pronouncements should be compared to those of, for example, the Royal College of Physicians, who do not prostitute themselves for cash and do not appear to be working for pharma money against the interests of public health.

Professor John Britton, Chair, tobacco Advisory Group, Royal College of Physicians, said: "If all the smokers in Britain stopped smoking cigarettes and started smoking e-cigarettes we would save 5 million deaths in people who are alive today. It’s a massive potential public health prize."

You might perhaps consider the relative worth of Prof Britton's statement versus the paid-for propaganda of some unknown pharma pimp in the BMA, an organisation with a proven record of publishing fictitious material and lying on behalf of the pharmaceutical industry (itself with the magnificent record of being, legally and officially, the world's biggest liars as they have paid all the largest fines for criminal fraud, and hold the record for the highest-ever fines for criminal fraud and criminal corruption).

People should consider the rather obvious financial confliction of medical personnel publishing anti-ecigarette propaganda. Prof CV Phillips bluntly describes such conflicted medics as "Crooks and liars", and has specifically named & shamed several of them. So far none of them has taken him to court; the reason is rather obvious.
