I am using a Prodigy with the Tenergy RCR 123a batteries.

Gosh, wish there was anothe e-smoker around somewhere that I could borrow from! I am so far in the boonies here that they have to pipe in sunshine. LOL.

I was hoping maybe I could use something to hold the battery in the charger like, foil?, a tiny washer of some kind? I have no understanding of how this charger works.

Can I charge one battery at a time or do both have to be in for it to work? Thanks.

I'm SAD... I was bending the prongs on my battery charger and one snapped off. :(

Is there any way I can fix this thing until I can order a new one? Any help or suggestions very much appreciated.

I don't know what your charger looks like but many temporary fixes have been done with tin foil and paper clips.

Same thing happened to mine. The chargers for these batteries are super cheaply made and you constantly have to bend the prongs back in place. If you bend anything enough times, it eventually breaks.

Yes you can charge one battery at a time using the side that hasn't broken. As ghetto as it sounds, foil does the trick for the broken side so you don't have to charge one battery at a time. Just ball up a big enough piece and cram it in where the prong used to be. It has to be big enough to touch the metal that the prong used to be attached to and the middle of the back of the battery.

Another quick foil fix. When I got my second charger, I put a little foil ball behind each prong so that they wouldn't bend out of place and I wouldn't be fiddling (and breaking them) again.

Thanks very much. Another great idea! my new charger should be here by Saturday. I will be super careful with it and I am gonna use the foil underneath to keep the pins in place.

I hate bending them but they loosened up so much my battery wasnt getting a good contact for charge. Hopefully, the foil will keep them in place so I dont have to bend at all!
