Broke my favorite drip tip...

I was out at the bar tonight (shooting darts with my best friend) and my ProVari Mini fell out of my sweatshirt pocket. I looked down and I was as shattered as my favorite drip tip was.

It was a purple glittered, green swirled (my favorite colors respectfully), mini oval shaped Trippy Tip. Never even got to take a picture of it.

I guess that's what I get for taking a glass drip tip into public.

Has any other drip tip fanatic suffered such a traumatic loss???



P.S. On the up side, tonight was the first night that I have ever been called attractive in some way (cute to be exact) by a female other than a family member trying to boost myself esteem. She may have been 37 but she literally did not look a day over 25 and was more attractive than 80% of the women attending the college that I go to. Now that's a confidence booster!

That sounds like a nice drip tip, also a couple of my favorite colors, at least you can still order a new one that will hopefully be as nice. But hey, bright side, if you're like me when throwing darts you throw better ...... off AND you got hit on, sounds like a good trade off to me.

Ouch, I feel your pain. I dropped a glass drip tip while removing it to clean. No major slam, just a slip of the hand. It wasn't attached to anything, dropped about 2', and landed on a nice soft cork floor. I fully expected it to remain unscathed but NOOOOO…a big chunk was chipped off of the base rendering it useless. I almost wonder if I chipped it when I removed it from the tank. I still prefer glass in a drip tip but am now very aware when I handle it and much more careful. Sorry to hear of your mishap.

Yes OUCH! Feeling your loss & I don't even have a trippy tip yet ( it's on my very long wish list ).
Too bad it was shattered - it's one of the only glass made tip brands I've seen that the maker can repair if it's salvageable.
Well it's a good excuse to shop - only problem is, those trippy tips are all so beautiful that it's difficult to pick just one.
