Broken glass Cobra tank, another back up lesson learned the hard way

Have had a chipped tank on my cobra for weeks, no one in the UK has replacements in stock, so I thought I would hold out fine until Alba got some in stock....wrong!

Busted in my hands tonight, dug out the Nova's from the box, yuk.

And how did everyone start thinking that RBAs are harder than a Vivi Nova? how fiddly is a Nova compared to a Cobra!!!

The space to wrap the coil is crazy, give me a 2ml drill bit and all the room you want any day of the week.

lesson learnt.

Went all in tonight and just bought another cobra, I cant stand more days than are required back on the Nova.

they have replacment tanks at phiniac and you can order blank tubes from ibtanked (have 3) for the 3 ml its 28mm long by 20mm dia with a 1.8mm wall thickness

@thrasher, bugger, I knew someone would know, I will go across to ibtanked and get some spares, at least I will now have a back up Cobra!

thing is I didn't want to wait forever for a shipment from the US to the UK, especially over the holidays, as it turned out, that was pretty stupid of me.

lol when i got my first cobra i fell in love with it so much i bought another right away and it just sits in a box, if anything i have a full set of parts. then i went and got the 5 ml so i dont have to refill at work with an awesome fire breathing dragon design on the tank from phiniac, i too broke a tank and had to use the back up.

while searching around, i found ibtanked sells cheap sleeves so i bought a few just to leave in a box.

I love my Cobra from the first time I vaped it....I did however get a Siam standard extra blue tank, but the regular orings on the Cobra Atty are not the right fit for the standard siam tank... anyone has an idea where I can find thicker orings to fit a reg standard size siam tank on a cobra ti nice and thight.

I also have chipped a small part of a reg cobra tank. I have a spare reg new cobra tank from phiniak but I want to use the blue one, I can't because I don't have the proper orings, so the cobra just sits on my dresser....wish I had the correct orings to mount the blue tank, any suggestions???

I got an extra tank when I ordered my Cobra from Phiniac, the one with the Cobra logo and one without. I was under the impression that Phiniac made the tanks and would be as tough as their regular tanks. I'm glad I know to be careful now.

phiniac states that tanks for the cobra are not made by them and come directly from siam mods.

they should have the orings at phiniac or alba vapors. the one i got from phiniac came with spare oring sets as i got a custom tank as well.
but the one i got from alba back in oct did not. but at that time alba also listed a complete inventory of spare parts, dont know about now.
