Gosh, brettaust, I never heard of bronchietasis, so I looked it up. Very curious suite of symptoms and problems.
I did note it's considered a variety of chronic obstructive lung disease, so I can offer only this:
When I smoked I had chronic bronchitis, every time the weather changed and all winter long for years and years, made worse by allergens in the air in certain seasons. I was always short of breath. Friends of mine clued me into
vaping in 2012. After about six weeks of dual use, both smoking and
vaping, I chose a cigarette quit day and succeeded. The day after I had my last cigarette my lungs began to clear, continued to clear, and I had my first winter completely free of bronchitis. I have never had it again.
Vaping is considered smoking harm reduction. If it helps you quit cigarettes it could help you deal with the condition you face. I would hope it will clear it up but I can't make that promise to you.
I wish you the best of health and sweet life.
