I don't know if this belongs in this section or not.
Quick question. I have a clearish/slight pink vape that is turning brown in my tank. The coil is new (so is the tank), 3 ish days old, and I am looking at it and it is nearly brown. I have seen threads saying that nicotine will turn brownish due to oxidation over a week period or so. But the vape in the tank is turning faster than that of the bottle. Is this possibly due to the coil?

I am using a Kaeger protank 3 dual coil with a glass barrel.

Yep. There is a heat factor involved, and it does affect nic. The ingredients have a say in it also, esp the sweets. If it gets overly thick, it will gum up the coil quicker. Time to dump that out for fresh stuff or a clean at that point. Some juices will do this faster than others.

Just as an aside note: I've noticed a lot less of what the op described with my cotton rewinds over the new mfg coils. Cotton rocks.

I have one flavor that always does that, even at low wattage. I got tired of wasting fairly large amounts of it by dumping, and have found that I can just refill it two or three times before it actually tastes bad. The coils I use with it also only last half as long as the other flavor I use about the same amount of.

Unfortunately it is my second favorite flavor (Burley Menthol Tobacco, not very tobacco flavored, but good) and I'm not going to give it up. I am about to try duplicating it in DIY, and am fondly hoping that I can come close, but maybe lose the cooking effect.

I get the Top-Vapor Tobacco 36 mg nic from Madvapes. It is brownish in the bottle. I use 5ml PBC Bottom coil tanks that have a glass insert inside the plastic tank. When I vape that juice and go to bed and wake up in morning and get my morning vape in, it staines the inside were the liquid is setting in the tank at the time (glass). Sometimes I can shake it up and it goes away. 99.9% of the time if I change to a different flavor and put that tank off to the side for a few days, the stain becomes permanent and when I'm done with it, I take a syringe and drain out what's left and put it back inside the orginal bottle. and then take apart the whole tank and clean it.
