Anyone else get this? every time I fill it there is a large bubble in it which affects the wicking. I've tried filling it slowly with a syringe but the bubble eventually forms. Is there a solution for this?
When filling it the air gets trapped there, tilt it as if pouring a draft beer.
The bubbles that form during use can be eliminated by reducing the O.D. on the mouthpiece's base. Chuck the mouthpiece into an electric drill and use a file, sandpaper, wet stone, ect. while spinning it to remove the "knurled like" pattern from it's base. Wrap duct tape around the part that's in the chuck.
Wear eye protection.
The bubble is harmless - shouldn't affect wicking at all.
But if it bothers you, and you don't want to file down the base of the mouthpiece, pick up a one-piece tank like the medium or large from Team Rampage.
