I've been vaping for three years. For the first two years I had never seen people vaping in public till the last 10 months. Now every time I go out to the beach I see at least 3 people vaping, and now --I see all the time, people vaping in the streets and in their cars.

Since that, I have been seeing more and more news segments on TV. Matter of fact I have seen three in the last few weeks and the latest was last night.

Every one that I saw -- I Hated. And when I saw the teaser for the one last night, I was expecting to Hate it too. It was better than I expected, but still had the normal half truths at the end, that drive me NUTZ.

I make the Prophecy that now, as e-cigs get more popular, we will be bombarded with news stories - all the time.

Here is the one from last night. I think that this one is the best we can expect, with most being worse. What do you think?

When I encounter people with negative views on vaping, I educate them and then kill them with kindness. If you take the offensive, you will never win them over. Some people I have spoken with have changed their opinion. It's the children argument that is the worse one to deal with, since logic never seems to prevail in those circumstances.

The "children argument" is how they pass school levies and it's never about the children and always about the teachers. Then they teach the children to fall for the "children argument". Same for the 'poor argument' or the 'seniors argument' or 'fill in the blank argument' - they benefit the gov't workers who deal out the 'help' that makes their 'clients' helpless or dependent. If you fall for or promote those arguments, you're a 'caring' individual which makes you immune to any criticism. If you don't, you're a terrible person. In terms of cigarettes or ecigarettes, you're a leper who needs to be separated from the general population. It's the art of PR and they are experts at it - they've been doing it longer and without much opposition.

And, btw, they don't 'kill us with kindness' either ;) I'm not saying that wouldn't work, just that they don't use that particular tactic. And they seem to be more effective without it.

I think you haven't been paying much attention lately. I've been seeing at least 2-3 articles like that every day for quite some time.

That's because we are looking for and being pointed to them here. Not many people read these news articles, the only time I read FORBES was for the e-cig article I found here. Local TV news is different.
