Build for a lighter throat hit on Kayfun 3.1?

I'm looking for a build that'll provide less of a throat hit from my kayfun 3.1, as just a basic 1 ohm micro coil is providing more of a thump then I'd like. Anyone have luck with a build with less of a throat hit?

All my builds have been 2ohm wicked with cotton and seem to be nice. A lot of it has to do with what you nicotine level is. My current build is twisted 32ga at 2 ohm and DIY juice at 24mg nic and I can take lung hits if I want no problem.

(Twisted as in 2 pieces of 32ga twisted together in a drill for an overall thicker guage wire) probably equivalent to like 28-29ga

Just get the coil as close to the airhole as possible without it touching.That will decrease the TH,the farther away the coil is you will get more TH.

A lot of people find when using RBA's and RDA's that they need to decrease nic content, some as much as half. I like the throat hit but vape much less with an RDA. But yeah, try a sample bottle of a lower nic and see how that works for you.

I tried doing micro/nan sub-ohm. For some juices it was okay, but I prefer 1.2 ohm with the coils spaced less than 1mm apart.

My main reason for doing this is so that the flavors weren't so in my face, they are a bit more transparent and I can taste the subtle ones. There is less throat hit. I do a mouth inhale though.

Reduce Nic 50%
You will get your flavor. The Nic impact interferes.
I have noticed Flavor changes on every Nic reduction and the Kayfun can product so much impact you just don't need the same%

+1 on reducing nicotine. I had to reduce dramatically on my first dripper then again on the kayfun. I think it's partly cotton to blame as I like to bump up the nic a bit for silica and ekowool.
