Maybe a .28 ga kanthal coil, 8 wraps, 2-2.5 mm id. It'll be 1.2-1.5 ohms I bet...

it's very smooth, quiet and adjustable....wide open is a very restricted dl. That's how I run mine. I imagine closing it down to 1 airhole would make for a fairly loose mtl.

Do you have any wire other than the 24AWG?
Use thinner wire.
What are you wicking with? A coil is stupid easy, the wicking is the hard part.

I run spaced in all my attys .... 24g nichrome with 6 wraps is a bit aggressive for mtl with this atty.
I use SS316L, 28 gauge, 2.5 mm ID, 7 or 8 wraps, slightly spaced, on my SXK clone. I squonk in TC only, but it can be run in VW (power) mode too.
The air holes all point toward a central point, so you don’t want too long a coil, IMO. I usually run it with all three holes open, only occasionally with one or two holes.
