Im looking for a place to buy 28 gauge kanthal, but don't know the mm conversion. Also i know organic cotton can be purchased in your local walmart, but is kanthal available in any store that you can walk into? or is it best to buy online. Thanks for the help

Temco on eBay is good if you don't want to go directly to the temco website. I use eBay just so I can expand my positive feedback

I tried to find li-on batteries at my local radio shack with no luck. They have hurt themselves by not keeping up. When I went in the gal said 3 other people had been in that day looking for the same type of batteries. That is what causes going out of business signs to go up.

I pick mine up on amazon, about 7-8$ for 100ft of 26-32 ga. Some of the sellers have free shipping if amazon prime.

tip: buy several gauges - it might help you later to experiment

I buy mine through Amazon, too. I like Temco best, but you will find other brands. 32ga is what is used in most common atomizer coils, but you can wind more turns with 28 ga to arrive at the same resistance. Sometimes, it's good to be able to wind a smaller coil with more turns to get lower resistance and cover more of the wick. I use both 32ga and 28 ga.

Would you use the annealed wire? Temco Kanthal A1 Wire Annealed

Kanthal A1 is what you want to use, Annealing is the process that makes it workable otherwise it would be stiff and brittle
