Building for 3 years, still don't understand how to wick!?

You want cotton to have some restriction when inserting in the coil.
When it starts to build up on the back end,not the one you're pulling it from,you gently stretch both ends and pull it 2cm more in the coil.
If it doesn't move after you stretch it,it's too much.
If it doesn't get build up on the back,it's too little.
Cut it,keep what is necessary trying to not get it packed.
You don't want to restrict the flow.
Wet it,it will expand a bit more and get tight against the coil.
A loose coil wrap not touching with cotton will burn it.
Too tight cotton in coil will taste like cotton only.
Also,cotton bacon v2 ftw.
