I have a good amount of research done about building a box mod, I currently own 2 ego's and am getting sick of them. I want to build my first box, I have a couple quick questions:

1- attached is the wiring diagram I will be using, correct wiring right?
2- does it matter what mosfet I use? I can't find info if there are different types, I see N-channel and I assume that is what I need
3- using just on 18650 battery is okay right? I don't need to use two?
4- can I buy an 18650 sled at radioshack or do I have to order online? Or can I perhaps make one? I have 2 springs that I could incorporate.

Thanks,

I will be creating it in my family workshop, I'll post pics of it once it's done:D

No matter if you go with one battery or two, make sure they are authentic and have enough CDR (Continuous Discharge Rate) to support the coil builds you're intending on using safely.

Don't know your experience, so forgive me if I'm preaching to the choir, but:

For info on batteries Baditude has several excellent blog posts on the subject. His blogs on battery safety are a must read before you venture into the world of sub-ohm vaping.

Reliable sources for batteries:
Batteries-Chargers-Flashlights-Only The Best
Authentic AW Batteries - RTD Vapor
Illumn.com - Flashlights, Batteries, Carry Gear, Intelligent LED Lighting, and More!

Do not buy batteries from eBay or Amazon. Some of their third party sellers sell fakes.

... and finally, here's a link that explains things in pretty simple terms: Vaping Battery Safety & Ohms Law Illustrated and explained in very simple terms

Hope it helps and Happy Vaping!
