Built my first coil! 3 hours and 7 attempts but I did it!!!

Well as you can see from the title, I have now built my first coil. If you are new to building these, persistence is KEY! I have a few notes and of course some questions for the advanced users on here. First, things I learned in this experience.
Things I learned:
1. Read the tutorials on this forum! I was a little too confident when building my coil. I thought I had watched enough youtube videos to just get in there and build one. Oh man was I wrong! The tutorials go step by step and they are easy to follow. My next coil will be built verbatim to those.
2. Don't give up! In the end all your frustration and cursing will be worth it.
3. If you pull the top cap off after a few vapes, make sure you have a "Vaper towel" (paper towel) right next to you as there will be condensation and juice build up inside and will get all over your device. Half my Provari got covered in juice LOL!
Questions:
1. Is this build up inside the top cap normal?
2. I getting a great throat hit but not very much flavor. I have my airhole directly over the coil and it is not drilled out (I don't own a drill) and I don't seem to be getting very much flavor. I know it could just be the juice that I am using. I used a juice that I have only vaped a few times because this was my first attempt and didn't want to waste my good juice if I messed up. Suggestions?
3. My coil came out to be 2.2 ohms. I was nervous about making my coil too low in resistance so I tried to do as many wraps as possible. The wire I used doesn't say what gauge it is. I only know it is .2mm. Should I try and make another coil with lower resistance? I am stuck with the wire I have until next month so changing the gauge of my wire right now is not an option.
I hope this has been helpful and If any of you want to answer any of these questions it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I guess I forgot to put what device I was using LOL!!! Sorry about that. I am using a Smoktech RSST. It is sitting beautifully on my brand new Satin Silver Provari V2.5! I won the RSST on the Rebuildable E-cigs page on facebook. I wanted to get into doing this so winning one was of course the proper motivation to get started! I got my wick and wire from www.vaporbeast.com. The only website I order from. They don't charge shipping no matter what the order!

Lol ya it took me a few hours my first time as well. You should get a little build up in the cap but it shouldn't be enough to leak out when you pull the cap off. When you fire it with the cap off does it pop and splash juice often? If so it just means your coils are wrapped loosely and have a few gaps. Nothing major just wrap the next one a little tighter. As far as flavor goes it could be the juice you're not used to and it could be because the top coil may be biting into the wick and causing a hot spot. If so just loosen it up a tad and you should be set. Congrats and enjoy the vape it's worth all that hard work!!
