Burned my lip

I was watching Youtube videos and dripping on a Cyclone atomizer trying out my new flavors from Stash e liquids and I forgot to put the cap back on my atty and took a very short hit of hot coil. I won't be doing that again in a hurry. I can't the only one can I ?

you are not. There are tons of stories of that happening and it even happened to me a few times. Usually though, now Ill still sometimes do it but i only get the risidual heat from the last hit, as i have become less fast to hit the fire. Maybe thats the reason.

I learned how hot the coil can get and how long it stays hot in a different manner... I did a dry burn to clean off the crud and then ( even after 30ish seconds of cool down time) went to move the coil with my fingertip and YOWZA!!! 26 ga coils hold heat for quite a while.....

Claptons hold heat for way way longer.... lol
