Hello,

I got yesterday the first batch of juice I ordered the last few days.
I wanted to use the same atty which I used before with LF PG juice (tabacco flavour's).
Since the juice I received is mostly fruity, sweet stuff I wanted to clean the atty, filler, cart etc... (I use currently a eGo XL setup).

So I threw the atty, filler, cart in hot water for 10 minutes.
Dried off everything, put juice+filler back in cart, primed the atty and started vaping...

I had to take at least 10-15 hits before good clouds of vapor came out....
Appx. 20 puffs after topping of the cart, I get this burned taste which I never had before...well, I had it before but only if the filler was almost dry.
I may can squeeze 3-4 drips in the filler until it's bursting full again....
20 puffs later, I get this burned taste again....

I have no idea what's wrong, is it the juice (BWB juice) or is my filler, atty screwed up....

I try it tonight again with the LF juice, will see if it's better....

The LF juice was PG, I think the BWB juice is a VG/PG mix....could that be the reason?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Alex

re filler - sounds like it either is not fully dry or is too compressed. If it's a 510 and you plan to be washing the filler, try the precut blue foam for 510 at strictlyejuice.com instead

burnt taste - hopefully it was just filler but if the atty wasn't wet enough then you could have singed the fiber wick under the bridge of the atty. When I prime an atty I always wait at least a minute to give the juice time to be absorbed so it gets to the heating element somewhere under the bridge.

Your batting is too dense for your style..remove 1/3 of it LONGWAYS...batting needs to be top to bottom in equal amounts. Just lighten that amount, and it will flow faster and youll have less burnt hits, if any. Your liquid viscisity, batting density, and how you vape all work hand in hand. Its trial and error. But a 2 pack person needs to remove 1/3 to half the batting that comes in a factory sealed cart to work well.
