Those are cool!
So have I! :)
LOL! I scoped them out too - wow. I'll probably never get one of those. I remain - as always - just a 'poor' Vaper. Besides, all that stuff about watts, checking amps, and all that - hmmmmmmmmmm! I guess I'm not smart enough to know what the hell all that stuff is. Not to say it isn't good - I'm quite sure that his Modd works great. I wouldn't know how to use it.. Heheheheee

Some of us here have been going far longer than that. :p
We're sort of like "The Villages", except there's no free golf for life. :)
'The Villages'.. now I like that! So why don't we just call ourselves "The vaping Villagers".. Livin' just down "The Burning Cartos Lane"...
In the State of 'Vapour'..

That's a pretty carto BR :)
I like the idea of an adjustable air feature. I'm trying my first EVOD carto, and it's too cool and too airy for my taste. I'd at least like to be able to adjust the airflow the airflow.
I love my EVOD! Put that puppy on 4,8 Volts and you'll forget all about 'airy' and 'cool' taste. It pumps at that voltage!

This is kinda what the real thing looks like. I can't see well enough to focus the camera and this shot is about the best I can do.

Look closely near the top of the tube and you can see one of four air holes.

There appears to be a space between the cartomizer and battery, but it's not. The complete cartomizer body is clear and the bottom end tightens down on the battery end.

What do you think about the adjustable air intake? I run it wide open and just breath through it while pushing the button, but I can make it draw just like a stock CE-2 by twisting the mouthpiece the correct amount.

Do any of you other kids have an opinion about feature? I'm kinda curious.

Very pretty!

Do we have an opinion??? ;) Does a bear... :D

So here's mine! Being able to adjust airflow is a great feature!!!!!!!

I use toothpicks, for crying out loud!

I cover one of the air holes when i use it....but most ways of covering the air holes are either ineffective or ugly. Hmph. I'm with you on preferring things that don't need to be modded to work. sigh.

CES, the new bases have corrected the problem. The made the grooves wider and shallower and the draw is much improved--I'm talking about the T3S and ProTank and mini ProTank bases. Day and night!

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm playing with my Smok Tech Vivi now and it's not half bad. I'll probably give it a day or two and see how it breaks in before I decide what to do next. There sure are a rash of new tanks out there now, aren't there? Almost too many to keep up with...

I'm on my third VV Gripper ($39.99) and this one has lasted a good bit longer than the other two so it might be a keeper. I like the shape and the fact that it goes down to 3 volts and takes a 18650. I like the look of some of those other mods but once you get past $60 I have a hard time pulling the trigger.

The feature is a bit awkward for me. Now I have to pay attention to the orientation of the mouthpiece after each refill. Sometimes I forget and wonder for a brief second why I ain't getting no air through the thing. It's hard to get something for nothing though, and I consider the other befits a good trade off.

Strange thing with the first two: After about two months both started reading everything I put on them as too low ohm-wise to fire. Must be an internal circuitry thing.

The Gripper is a great device. I was surprised yours didn't last long, actually. And you can't beat the price!
