If you kids ain't gonna say something here, I will. Hopefully a few of you will respond.

I have a question that I have been wondering about every since I began using electric cigarettes. Maybe it doesn't happen with you, but it's about some stuff that gets on my lips and builds up on the mouthpiece. I know it gets there from the vapor that has already been in my lungs, but I can't help but wonder how much of it stays in my lungs. If some does stay in my lungs, is it harmful to my health? This stuff wipes off fairly easy if a good bit of VG is in the juice, but is very difficult to remove if the vapor is all PG.

hmmmmmmmm......... I must be the only one who gets a buildup of stuff on my lips and mouthpiece. If so, what am I doing different?

Sad to say I broke one of my cartomizers last night. I went to sleep with it in the bed and rolled over on it. That's what I get for being lazy. What happened was that the charge in my usual battery played out and I borrowed Peggy's Vision Spinner to get me by for the night. Her battery doesn't support the weak 510 thread on my cartomizer and that's where it broke. It's been in use since June of last year, so I don't guess I can fuss too much. I'd like to build another one to take its place, but I don't think I can do it.

yup! occasionally i might find some condensation on the inside of the tip but rarely. but then, if i remember right, you are going through lots of juice on a daily basis.
not sure if some cartos or tanks can ''run rich like a motor'' ;)

I've been noticing this sticky stuff every since the first day I began vaping, so damfino why it just happens with me.

and you're getting that with an off-the-shelf carto too? you must be finding that stuff on the outside of the tip since you are convinced the build-up happens through exhaling vapor. but why would the tip be in proximity of your lips during exhale? i can't picture it :?:

Hmmmmmm. I had the exact same thing happen to me last year, but it was coz I made a replacement plastic mouthpiece to replace one that broke, so anyways, I got the same thing you are describing here. Weird. I think it was coz I sanded the mouthpiece with a fine-grit sandpaper. So anyways, after a few weeks, I got another mouthpiece for it and threw the sanded one away. The gunky stuff on my lips, in my mouth and on the mouthpiece disappeared in a day or two. I didn't give it much thought afterwards, til I saw your post. That's about all I can tell you about my experience with 'gunky mouth'? Is that what we could call this?

The buildup happens on my lips and is transferred from them to the outside of the tip. Also, I leave it in my mouth a lot of times while I am exhaling. I figured this was something that happens to everybody else and never said anything here about it. It happens with Peggy too, and she uses a different juice than I do.

Happy Birthday BR!!!

(I think the sticky stuff on the mouth piece is from your lips, not from the liquid. the skin on the lips renews itself pretty quickly and the older skin has to go somewhere. Normally we wouldn't notice it, but the tips stay at the lips for a good part of the day. it happens more often when my lips are chapped, and sticks worse to aluminum drip tips and barely at all with smooth plastic)

...BR, I sure wish you could make it to Ocean View. I'd love to meet you someday. And if I'm ever in your area, I will def look you up!!!
(Yeah, I'm going to visit Ocean View beach sometime in September, most likely the second week, after the Labour Day Holiday...
There's still time to get your travel plans in!
Will it be a Vape-Fest For One?
Let's certainly hope not!
