. What's wrong with eGo button?

The eGo button was not all that bad on the original small battery, but I didn't especially like it because it was mounted in a housing that had a smaller diameter than the battery. In other words, it breaks up the straight line look that I prefer.

Actually, it was a pretty good idea to begin with, because the inset button was less likely to accidentally fire while not in use. Nowadays we can turn it off when not in use, so that feature is usually not needed. However, it still looks nice and works fine for people who still use the cone with a stick size atomizer or whatever. Or maybe a beauty ring, heheh.

The problem now is that this switch housing is becoming an industry standard and other manufacturers are using it with larger diameter batteries. This insets the button even further and when used with some of the larger cartomizers, it's pretty awkward to get at quickly, especially just by feel. By comparison, I can pick up my device just about any old kind of way and immediately know exactly where the button is. And I ain't gotta stick my finger or thumb down in a slot to get at it.

But hey, just because I hate that button doesn't mean that anyone else in the world does. I think maybe I'm sort of different.

You're picky, my love! :)

Never had a problem finding my button, honestly. But I had one battery with a sticky button; I hated that one.

Watch it Zelda. :p

What do you want me to watch?:p

I had a "finding the button" comment as soon as I read that, but my Southern gentleman upbringing prevented me from using it.

(didn't stop me from THINKING about it, though...) ;)

Don't be shy Banjo!! I don't bite.:p What do nice Southern men think about?
