I am so glad that others are noticing this. Just got an order last week and so far all 5 carts I've used only lasted a few hours as opposed to the usual all day. I ordered 30 of these so I would have one for each day. So much for that plan :( Glad I have some left over carts from last month.

Shelly

Not to fret, I have my new Mboro carts in, and will make it up to you:D

I know where you're coming from on the chain smoke thing. I used to go through 3 packs a day. I now realize that 10-15 % of the cancer sticks I used never were smoked, they just burned out in my hands or the ash tray. I also learned how to smoke a cigarette very quickly ;) when I needed to dart outside.

At my desk I have 2 VKs. I can usually tell when the cart is getting warm but you need to pay attention to it. I continuously switch back and forth between the 2 to keep the carts cooler. Haven't burned one up yet. But sometimes I do look like I'm vapeing two fisted.

Yeah, i know some of mine burned up in that ashtray..while i was lighting another usually..having forgotten the one in the ashtray.

I can't even guess what i did to my lungs over the years, but if anything, i vape less than i smoked, becaue its not *lit* unless youre puffing it, where as a cig is frying away between those drags..however little time there might be between them.

As far as the passthrough goes, i have the complete opposite take on it. It's furious compared to a battery, and i find myself takin it to work and using it anywhere else i can because it gets the job done with less work on the cartomizer.

You gotta bang hell out of a cartomizer on a battery to get the same effect as on a passthrough...in fact im very serously considering a screwdriver or silver bullet attachment to upspin the cartomizer output when portable. Cartomizers on my passthrough probably last as long as they do on a battery due to less active use in the same amount of time.

Thats just my take on it.

I had mark, doing comparisons with my latest carts, with battery vs passthru, and we found it is very very colse, when our new manual batterys get here, I think V4L will finally compete with the big boys for vapor, beat em in flavor(taste), and kill em for poratblility. Time will tell, but, hey, I NEVER stop trying:D

These new cartomizers are very different, from the older ones,,you will experience them soon. Nobody has em, cept V4L.

A manual batt might indeed make the cut. I'm not knockin the product, its sleek, portable, and looks badass as can be. But once you fire up the passthrough, its hard to use a battery unless you have to if you know what i mean. That passthrough is real satisfaction...WHAM!

A lot of people don't realize the spontaneous voltage drop that occurs when a battery looks face first into the dead short that is an atomizer (or cartomizer). it's a little piece of wire that has enough impedance (ohms) to get hot when current passes through it. A passthrough has a far bigger current backing it up, and the voltage drop is less of course, therefore the wire gets a bit hotter, and more vapor (and thus more nicotine) is delivered.

My reasoning behind a higher amperage (but retaining the 3.something-ish) voltage falls along those lines. Of course it might just turn a cartomizers flavor to crap too, so it'll be an expensive experiment to have fail, but most of those big gimick jobs have good resale value so I may have to give it the old college try... Primarily because there's a limit to what you can do with a battery when it has to fit the size limitations and current limitations imposed upon it by the size restrictions of an 808 battery model.

The pass through is the perfect voltage/amperage combo to get the most out of a cartomizer with a reasonable lifespan and without smoking it instantly...a very real possibility with a 3.7 volt monster like a silver bullet or screwdriver i fear.

Experimentation...without it we wouldn't have the light bulb or the hydrogen bomb or any of those other household conveniences (what you dont have your own hydrogen bomb..you know..for emergencies?) haha.

With the old carts, I agree, but, when you get the new ones, your whole world looks better, seriously, I made a few adjustments in the design, and wow.........vapor..........glorious vapor.........and warmer, like the passthru:hubba:

I love the sizzle, means it is cooking just right.....no worries, it will be a sound, near, and dear to your heart. When you do not....you need some juice:thumbs:

That is absolutely correct, it will continue to vape without the sizzle, the end is near...or as the wife says "I think this one is 'over' " LOL! like a movie or a relationship...she never calls them "empty" she say's theyre "over" wahahaha omg that makes me laugh..cant put a finger on why.

As soon as that sizzle vanishes, its time to consider setting it aside for filling...cause theyre about to roll the credits...its over.
