well i had vaped for about six months, thinking it was too good to be true, when it suddenly, and without warning became very painful. to describe the pain, it's like that burning feeling when you get ejuice on your tongue. when i pull, wherever the vapor reaches (mouth, throat, lungs, nose, if i exhale through my nose) i get like a searing flesh pain. cleaning/changing atomizers didnt help. rotating ejuices didnt help. changing to vg-only lessened the pain for a little while, then it starting hurting just like pg. for the next few weeks i kept trying once in a while, thinking maybe i had gotten sick and it had caused a negative reaction to vaping. but the pain remained.

this all happened about 5 months ago. ive been smoking analogs since then, but really want to get back into ecigs again.

input? suggestions?

I'm actually at that state right now. Throat, nasal passages, lungs are just too tender to vape. I'm taking a few days before I try to resume any type of vape at all. I have VG and PG with some flavors hanging around to do some minor mixing. I was vaping cherry 50/50 and all was well(5 weeks) and it started mildly. Then the next day it became more painful. I slowed down considerably and on the 3rd day, that was it. I put the PV down and won't be going near it til this eases off...if it does. I tried some Timmy's Dbl Dbl in small vapes, but to no avail. I really hope this changes because vaping is the only type of Nic that I want to do. I was a 30 - 40 analog a day smoker.

before this problem happened, i was at the point where vaping ecigs was more enjoyable than smoking analogs. doing something like this without health concerns was just too good to be true, at least for me.

anyway, i think the problem is the nicotine. big problem, i know. even as i smoke analogs now i can still feel a little stinging tingle as the nic hits my toungue. bearable, but this wasnt here before i began ecigs.

its been a long time since i vaped, and will try it again soon. maybe i can vape long enough to ween myself off of nicotine and that will be that.
