I use an eGo-C A-type along with the hard tank and the soft silicon gasket tank. Recently, I started getting a burned plastic taste much like what a burning plastic milk jug smells like when it's burned. I was vaping a very strong flavor and it still pervaded the taste.
I was getting vapor just fine, but decided to switch atomizers and still got the taste. I pulled apart the original and cleaned it and retried that one with the same result. I cleaned the tank and tried a milder flavor. Still burned milk jugs.
I tested the battery and switched that even though I couldn't figure out why that would have anything to do with the problem. Only thing left was the tank.
The original tank was one of the soft silicone tanks, so I went to a clean hard gasket, and sure enough, the jug taste was gone.
I'm just curious - has anyone else experienced this? I'm burning a tobacco flavor now and the taste just might be hidden behind the tobacco flavor, but I don't think so. I don't really need the soft gasket tanks, but I order a pack once in a while. If this is a common problem, I'll skip those from now on.
Thanks for any replies.
