sooooo i have been dating this girl about 1 8months and recently she has started to tell me that my skin burns hers when i touch her. this effect is amplified to an almost unbearable level in specifically more "sensitive" areas of her body. do you think the nicotine is what is causing this? i vape about 3-7ml's of 36mg a day (madvapes juice olny...MVFTW) plus 2-3 pieces 4mg nic gum when i cant vape. she does not currently use nicotine but used to be an analog-er about 24~ months ago...this issues is starting to hurt our relationship and im willing to reduce/quit nicotine because of it(though i REALLY don't want to quit)

I would bet its on your hands-

I agree. Juice on your hands can do this. Perhaps handling the nicotine gum, too, but I don't know. So wash your hands before you touch her, particularly her more sensitive areas. Really, you should do this anyway, vaping or not! Hands are filthy and are the main way we transmit things like colds and flus to each other.

thats kinda what i thought but its ANY section of my skin(ie. penis) i think i may go back to carto's and see if that helps( less filling maybe less trans-dermal absorption?) i wish there was a way i could test the levels of nicotine on my skin...(which since 10% of your body's waste is excreted through your pores...lolz...maybe i don't want to know)

That sounds more like psychological.

There's another possibility, too, but it's worse than if the cause were vaping. Twice in my life I've been with women that I wasn't physically compatible with. One reacted to me much like you're describing, and with the other, I reacted to her in a similar way. I didn't vape (or smoke) at the time, and never figured out what it was. Just chalked it up to some weird biochemical thing, possibly dietary. Or perhaps allergy to laundry detergents or something. Both times, it basically made the relationship impossible.

I hope that what you're experiencing is not this!

if thats the case do the placebo thing- Tell her you switched to 0 nic, OR you switched to PG or VG 100%- cause you heard that was what was 'burning' her- if it stops then you know its mental- if it doesnt, then maybe you SHOULD do the switch.

Have you gotten on a jalapino kick lately? cause that burns BADLY and DOESNT wash off easy- I can assure you-

and maybe get tested for a yeast infection- not to be TMI but that might be doing it too-

...wow...i read that and my heart( and 5v mod) hit the floor...may i ask if this was noticed at the beginning of the relationship or midway?

Is this question posed to me? If so, then both times we noticed it early on, but it took a couple of months before we realized it was actually a reaction to the other person and not something else we were being exposed to, yeast infection, or anything like that.

Have you recently started using a new soap for showering, new laundry detergent, new deodorant, new lotion, or started a new medication? It's spring so going on allergy meds at this time of year isn't unusual. It could be any of these things. If you've started using something new it could be that she's allergic to it.
